Even though Hillary didn't win, it makes me feel a little better that more people than not were on the right side of the vote.

Imagine if Trump was more emotionally and academically intelligent and really tried to lead from the center to bring this country together, given his 2.7 Million people loss in the popular vote.

And yet he's still claiming a "landslide" victory. Even in Electoral College votes, he is way down the list of landslide victories. But it doesn't matter. His peeps will believe his lies, and the Republicans will tell us to get over it. ETA I decided to rewrite the slightly venomous comment above.

But it was only people in big (liberal) metropolitan areas that voted for Clinton. The people in sparsely populated rural areas understand the countries problems better, so their votes should hold more weight...

Strangely, I live in a sparsely populated rural area and what I have learned is that my vote counted even less than you heathen urban dwellers. These hoity toity coastal elites keeping telling me that I should try harder to understand myself and what it means to be a real American living in real America. From what I've been able to gather, apparently no one else in real America voted for Hillary, it must have been only California. What is the MORE votes nonsense of which you speak?

I think it's going to blow up in your face bigger than you could ever imagine, Trumps ego will see to that. Sadly, he's going to take us all with him, not just the ones who voted for him.

I heard on Twitter that Cheetos was coming out with a new product: Flamin' Hot Trump Puff Balls. They're said to recreate what Trump feels like when he looks at the popular vote.
(If he'd have started to act the least bit presidential I'd let up) (Some, not all by any means, Trump supporters have their tin foil hats crimped too tightly to their noggins and can't comprehend truth anymore)

So the Trumpster lost the popular vote? It's really not clear from this thread. Hahaha! Republicans haven't lost anything and they won't for a very long time. Here's what you don't get. Republicans HAVE lost. The party chose someone who doesn't understand the fundamental tenets of the Republican party's beliefs. They chose someone who doesn't understand basic foreign policy. They chose someone who is not qualified, not a good role model, not a public servant, because they didn't care. All they wanted was to WIN. You sold your souls. So, maybe the Republican party "won" the presidential election, but I'd be really cautious about claiming that you didn't lose anything. Because you totally did.
