And your husband starts to question how much scrapbook stuff you've bought...

I thought you were going to say "When all your gifts under the tree are wrapped in 12 x 12 boxes, you are guaranteed to have a great Christmas!"

You have an observant husband. Mine would not give it any thought at all. If I mentioned it to him he would look at me with a blank stare.

Mine would announce each evening that I got home that I had another box arrive. Then yesterday I wrapped everything and he faithfully took the extra empty boxes and packing out to the recycle bin. He didn't say a word, but I could read those rolling eyeballs

Lol! I always smuggle mine out to the trash when DH isn't home. Darn, they would have made good Christmas boxes!

...you should be applauded for recycling. Doesn't it feel good to reuse those boxes for free? You are providing the next generation with an example of an environmentally-friendly home. Congratulations; you are champion for the environment & a great (scrapbooking) mom! 🏆🌎 ✂️ ETA: I suggest your husband reward you for excellent parenting; perhaps another 12x12 box?

As my well-versed crafting mother would say "It takes a lot of paper, stamps (yarn, fabric, beading supplies) you know fill in the blank, to equal a fishing boat"! In my case it is a sail boat (or two) and other assorted big boy toys! LOL!
