Need the creativity of the Peas! I have paper copies of concert tickets to give DH for Christmas. Other than sticking in a envelope, what ways can I give. Other than slipping in a cracker Jack box or attaching to a cd of that person...

I'm giving DD concert tickets. I put a t-shirt in the box, and, underneath, I made a fake ticket on card stock with all of the details, including the tour logo, dates, who is going, etc. I figure she'll think the t-shirt is the present and totally miss the "ticket," so I'll get to ask if there is anything else in the box.

Paperclip the tickets to the appropriate month of a new calendar.

Put the tickets in an envelope. Put the envelope in the bottom of a big box, the bigger the better. Fill the box with old text books or some other heavy, bulky random thing. Just for kicks and giggles, throw in a string of jingle bells, or another sealed envelope with some rice or dried peas inside so the box jingles or rattles when it's shaken. Wrap the big box. No one will ever guess what it actually is!

I have Calgary Stampede rodeo tickets to give my dd's ... I'll just put them in envelopes and then put the envelopes in gift bags with tissue ... not creative but gets the job done They will be so excited because last year I just took my mum and they were jealous ... this year all four of us are going ... girls day out at the Calgary Stampede

Tie them to a helium filled balloon with a long ribbon then put the balloon in a big box and wrap the box.

I have two sets of tix I have to do this with...
For my DS we got him tickets to see Green Day. I bought him a Green Day tshirt and printed out the electronic copies of the tickets, folded it and tucked it in the neck are of the tshirt. Even if he loses or misplaces the tickets, I can re-print them.
For DH - DS and him love the NBA team the Warriors. I was able (through a client of mine who has the PHoenix Suns as a client) get 2 tickets to their game against the Warriors in April for face value. I had checked TicketMaster and Stub Hub and the prices were outrageous. My neighbor had bought her grandson a basketball for Christmas and didn't want to wrap it up in the box it came with (will actually, the cardboard that surrounds the ball, but the ball still peaks out). I asked her for it and she let me have it. I bought DS and DH Warriors t-shirts (already had planned that before the tix became available) and DS got a card and put a note in it saying they were going to the game (not giving them the tix because they will lose them - they are in going in the safe!) and the card is in the very middle surround by the tshirts and lots of tissue paper. It looks like he is getting a basketball.
Are the tickets you are giving DH for a sporting event, a concert or performing arts?

can you buy some other sort of 3D-type merchandise that is related to the artist / band, the band or artist's name, or to music in general? Maybe a music note bookend, bookmark, something like that, and attach the tickets to the 3D object in some manner?
(as a bit of explanation / inspiration: I gave my boyfriend a gift certificate for skydiving, and I put it with a GI Joe figure that I made a sort of parachute for... so if you could somehow relate the concert tickets to an actual 'object' you might get ideas for a 'thing' to purchase.)
eta: maybe a toy guitar if it's a rock band, something 'country' like a cowboy hat or bandana if it's a country artist, a treble clef bookmark if it's for the symphony, a toy basketball game if it's for a pro basketball game, something like that...
eta2: if you like throwing people off with what you're giving, like someone else said, you can put the tickets in something that will fool them- you could put them inside a box with a jigsaw puzzle in, or put a bag of beans / rice, put gravel or rocks inside the box, etc.

So glad you asked this. I bought DD and her fiance tix to Cirque du Soleil. I printed them myself, so they are 8 1/2 x 11 (tri-folded) and don't really fit in a standard Christmas card envelope. I'm loving these ideas!

Praying we make it this time! ^^^ I had to look him up, because I've never heard of him- it looks like the 2017 tour is called "Elegant Gypsy" and it's a 40th Anniversary tour, so perhaps something either gypsy-related, or related to the number 40? (something small, because it's just sort of an 'add-on' to the real gift, but something that relates in some way to the tour)

One year I gave my Mom Broadway tickets for Evita, which is one of her favorites. She loves reality shows, so I made up a little game she had to play. She had to open little gifts and figure it out, I started with a nice apple ornament to signify going to the big apple. It was fun, she liked it, of course I had to keep giving her hints along the way.
You could find a nice guitar ornament? or other sort of decor? maybe a musical card or make up a little video in iMovie or something like that.

When we gifted the kids jimmy buffett tickets they got Hawaiian shirts and flip flops and I made concert tickets and stuck them to the bottom of the flip flops.
Any thing related to the concert you can do?

Empty Plastic bottle - remove label and make a slit. insert paperwork or gift card. make a new "label" to cover slit -- decorate festively That one is totally my favorite!

I take an empty roll from wrapping paper (or paper towels) cut it to the right size, slide the paper gift inside, and wrap it to look like a big Christmas cracker.

How about preparing the concert information on a piece of paper - one that you can cut in the shape of a guitar. Of course printing on cardstock would be best, than make it a jigsaw puzzle he has to put together? You could put all the pieces in a little box and wrap.

I did this with a gift card for my mom once. I got a used up advent calendar and put the gift card behind a couple of the windows.
Maybe you could put one of the tickets behind there and maybe stick little things in the compartments that are clues to what the gift is.

Small tip on tickets -- Make photocopies/scans of the actual tickets to give as the gift. Keep the originals in a safe place. I cannot tell you how many stories I've heard of tickets getting lost in the wrapping paper shuffle and getting thrown away by accident.

I filled a mason jar with candy and slipped the tickets in the center of the jar that looked like an elf. I found the idea on Pinterest. I don't know how to link, but if you search elf mason jar it should come up.
