Be happy with me. My daughter got me a car for Christmas.
I'm in shock. She presented it to us on Christmas Eve and I still am having trouble believing it. Her SO says she has been saving for this since her first paycheck as a nurse. She says it is payback for all we have done for her - but we only did what most parents do when they have the money to help.
The car is a Jeep Cherokee and I love love love it. Its perfect for me. It has all those electronic things like starting it from inside the house, memory of how you like your seat, automatic this and automatic that, push button to open back hatch and on and on.
She is such an awesome daughter! and I am not saying that just because she bought me a car. But this is indicative of where her heart is. She gives and gives.
Now I am trying to figure out where all I can drive it tomorrow - LOL

Wow, that's amazing, and sweet!
Not trying to detract from her generosity, but you did a great job parenting her to grow that spirit.

That is so amazing, what a great testament to what a lovely daughter you have raised. I bet she is a bit more thrilled than you are to receive it if you can even imagine that! I bet she has been giddy for weeks knowing that she was going to get to give you that for Christmas !

I'm so happy for you! Getting the car is amazing in itself, but the fact that she's been saving her hard earned money for it is beautiful. She sounds like a pretty great daughter, which usually means she had a wonderful mom! Thank you for sharing this - it really put a smile on my face. ❤

Wow, how sweet and generous of her, but it sounds like you had something to do with it given you raised her. Enjoy your new car and your fantastic daughter!

But it sure makes my heart happy! My daughter didn't buy a car, but she is footing the bill for a $25k remodel! Congrats! Let us know how many miles you put on it today lol
