I guess I have more than one question.
I used some free cut files for various Christmas projects (nothing I sold) like wrapping presents, making cards etc and for a few of the files that I used, I don't know where I got them from. I've right-clicked the image in my Silhouette library and tried looking at 'Show Properties' but there is no information on the artist.
I did a google search on 2 of them hoping to jog my memory on where I downloaded from but can't find them. The names of the files aren't helping me either. One is called DL-Freebie-Giving-Day 6-Joy.
This isn't the only one I'm unsure and I certainly do NOT want to post the images of my projects anywhere without a proper and respectful credit to the designer.
Any advice and/or information would be greatly appreciated!

It's the bane of the digital designer and scrapper alike. If you include your name on each file, along with a descriptive title, file names become unmanageable. I always use my initials, but that only helps if someone remembers your name!
You've done your best. I'd post your work, with a note at the bottom that if a designer recognises their work and would like credit, let you know.
I save all my files by designer name in folders but I don't always credit every single thing.

nicolep the one called DL Day 6 sounds like it's a Hip Kit file. Just a tip - when I download files, I add key words to the properties if they don't already have them - including the designer or website name so I know where they came from.
