Yes! Cute, stinkin' cute, yummy all definitely need to go. Find new adjectives please. Baby talk from grown woman should be banned. @amayalylac lol at "Crafting Cardashians"!
There are 2 well-known scrapbookers and they often use the phrases "them ones" "these ones" and "those ones" in their videos. Makes me cringe. I wish someone close to them would explain to them why they need to stop using "ones" in this context.

I took a scrapbook class with a presenter who really overused the word. She even knows she does this. So every time she said cute or super cute, we all took a swig of our drink. It got to be pretty funny watching 25 women try to keep up building a page and drink during a 2 hour class. Now that sounds like fun.

I love Kawaii. I love cute. Oooh, it does grate on my nerves to hear stinking cute. How can it be cute if it is stinking? I don't want to hear amazing either. Amazing to me is not a planner. Amazing would be Michael Fassbender standing in front of me naked. That would also be a miracle, lol. Stamps are not yummy. I am not going to eat them. Cupcake is yummy. Don't say it is "Oh so Kawaii!" When it is not. Kawaii is a definite style. A pink horse planner sticker is not Kawaii. I can say that is the one that really irks me. I don't watch videos where women are trying to hard. This is not keeping up with Crafting Cardashians. I bet those ladies are lovable just as they are. They don't need to impress. Give me real. If you cuss I love you. If you are a cutie IRL I love you too. I know if I made videos I would be banned from YouTube. I would say it is cute. I am one of those girls who really do love cute things and it is who I am. I would say it in a normal voice. Then I would turn around mess up my project and say "Well, I f***ed this up! LOL. You're my kind of girl! I think I would love your videos!

Drooling over xyz something or other was the other dumbest thing I could think of. But then again I started salivating when I saw something I really really wanted once and felt like an idiot because it's not food, it was something cool that I wanted. It was some new paper trimmer or a line of paper. I did feel dumb after that.

"Kawaii" does just mean cute in Japanese. My daughter is fluent and I confirmed this with her. Here it has taken on a connotation based on the "Kawaii" things coming from Japan but that is our association. It actually just means cute. I do not mind something being called cute if it is cute what else are you suppose to call it? Lol

I almost always watch you tube videos without the sound..... Me too. I really love the YouTubers who do minimal narration then speed up their process with an instrumental accompaniment. No offence, but I don't need to hear every single thing you're thinking. If I see you take off one embellishment and stick down a different one, I'm smart enough to know that the second one matches better somehow. You don't have to tell me it's because "it had more blue than the other one." We can see that and some of us are willing to try and figure out the "why" on our own. But, in fairness to those who spend time making and editing those videos, it's good to have a wide variety of video styles available. The videos that appeal to me don't represent the PL video watching majority. There are lots of other viewers who appreciate the 10-20 minute "think aloud" and want to hear every single thing that rolled through your head while making a spread/layout. I'm just one of the make it less than 8 min. video watchers. Back OT - the "cute" thing irks me too. Of course they think it's cute, who's gonna slap something on a layout because they think it's ugly, or dated, or blah? We all use things we find to be appealing. It's the almost "baby-talk" from grown women that I don't get. It's paper, stamps, or acetate. Can we avoid sounding like little girls or talking about art supplies like their edible? I think the way we talk about our hobby and supplies makes it sound trivial sometimes. You'd never hear a painter or photographer say they're going to play with some yummy goodies when talking about lens, brushes, or paint. SaveSaveMore proof of the "you can't please everyone" truism. I hate when they put music over crafting. I love a well-narrated video (minus the incessant "cutes" and "sweets") but I don't like music. I often dislike their music choices and if they music-over their crafting I can't put the video on in the background but know when to look at the screen for a part that interests me.

My peeve is that American girls tend to use it in the wrong context. Japanese version of "Cute" is very different from the USA. I know I am probably confusing all of you. Here's Wiki- en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kawaii. I spend a lot of money on Kawaii items every year. "Kawaii" collectors do not want knock offs. I always look for authentic. American's generally do not make Kawaii merchandise. I have to do a lot of imports.

In work mode I am a very polite well spoken person, as soon as I am out those doors though I literally can not stop cuss words and my inappropriate Australian slang slipping out.

Here is a list of 629 synonyms for cute if you need one. I like ravishing. Seems a bit dramatic, but something a Crafting Cardashian might use. www.powerthesaurus.org/cute

I do not mind something being called cute if it is cute what else are you suppose to call it? Lol I can also confirm this as I took Japanese as my foreign language. However, it does also now connote a particular style..and behavior for women. Infantalizing grown women (think dressed in baby doll dresses and being all giggly) is a subculture thing. Harajuku style and all that. At any rate, there are also some people who post process videos whose work really like, but I have to watch them on mute! On the other hand, I'm a teacher, and I'm sure I have pet phrases I say that grate on my students' nerves!
