I would be perfectly happy without a tv. I don't watch much. I'm more of a reader. I used to walk around the house with a book in my hand. Now it's my phone. I like to be reading SOMETHING.
Video games. We have them all I guess but I don't play.
Pool. I never wanted one but here I am with an inground pool.
Coffee maker. Nobody in my house drinks coffee. Our keurig keeps leaking. I bought some silicone gel that google says will seal the leak but it didn't work. Hey kids why don't we just replace it with a teakettle? No we have to have a keurig! So I bought a dang replacement keurig.
Because I'm not the only one who lives here, we keep the stuff. It brings SOMEBODY joy, just not me.

There are days I would put DH on that list. Really, I could get rid of 75% of the stuff in my basement and never miss it.
My keurig could go. I don't drink coffee and it's only been used twice since I've owned it. The only reason it stays is because DS gave it to me and he would notice if it wasn't here. There is also a whole lot of kitchen gadgets I probably wouldn't miss either.

So my husband thinks I need to eliminate have the things in my pantry, but when the waffle maker died and I pulled out a stovetop waffle maker, he was impressed.

My piano. I never was very good at playing it. I moved it all the way to Texas (and back - a 2,000+ mile round trip. ). I haven't touched it since we moved back. The only thing that's stopping me from getting rid of it is sentimental reasons. My late father bought it for my late mother. I have good memories of her sitting and playing it. So here it sits. Maybe someday, sigh.
My exercise bike. I have discovered that I really like my treadmill a whole lot more. My DD is supposed to move it to her basement for my grandson. So far no one has had time to haul it out of my basement and put it in hers. Plus - That sucker is heavy! The flywheel weighs a ton. It's going to take at least three people to get it up the basement stairs.

Definitely the TV and video games. The kids watch is occasionally, but not even daily. I know there have been weeks without it being turned on. They'd feel lost without the radio, though!
CDs. DH has some he won't let go of, he has spent hours downloading them. I wouldn't even notice they were gone, except to see the empty space (which would be lovely).

If it's mine, I get rid of it if I don't want it, I can't stand clutter. But, my family loves clutter and never wants to get rid of things we never use. So we have a ton of unused stuff in the house (mostly small, but some bigger items). My husband has a car from his teen and college years that he wants to make into a classic car (was his grandfathers). But its expensive to fix up. So we have had it sitting in our garage for 20 yrs.! We can't park in the garage and the kids are embarrassed for the doors to be open. My husband has big (take up space) expensive hobbies.

Breville juicer. It lives on a shelf inside the cardboard box it came in and has only seen the light of day maybe a half dozen times since DH bought it. Who knew juicing was so crazy expensive?

All of my scrapbooking crap. I spent so much on it that I can't let it go, and nobody wants to buy it, so there it sits.

I could live without my yard. I hate yardwork. We don't have kids at home to play in it. I pay to have all the work done.
I have purged my kitchen of all unused stuff. I already decided I could live without it. I only have 3 good knives. My mom keeps trying to give me more small appliances. I don't need a food processor or a rice steamer or whatever you got free at the casino, LOL.

My younger brother has a Triumph TR-6 that has been sitting in his garage for more than a decade. He has lived in four houses over that timeframe and the car moved along with him each time. He got it from our nephew, who got it from his dad (our brother) who ALSO had it holed up in the garage for years before that. I couldn't begin to count the number of times that car has been moved from place to place since my older brother originally acquired it, probably in the late 70's or early 80's. It has never run right. Ever.

I have some kitchen gadgets that I could get rid of, but don't for some silly reason. Several years ago I bought this flowering onion maker for $5. I've never used the thing, but I'm convinced that one day I'll use it and make this gorgeous onion blossom. So, stuff like that should go. I sound like a hoarder.

Any/all of the "retro" gaming consoles that DH collects and a crap-ton of DVDs. I pulled out a stovetop waffle maker I didn't even know such a thing existed! How cool!

The only thing that's stopping me from getting rid of it is sentimental reasons. My late father bought it for my late mother. I have good memories of her sitting and playing it. So here it sits. Maybe someday, sigh. My mother LOVED to play the piano. She would play for hours and I have so many wonderful memories of that. After she died I really wanted it because of the sentimental value. But I just didn't have a place for it (I only pick at it, don't really play) and would have to move it from AL to MO. So my Dad gave it to two young sisters at church who loved piano but couldn't afford one. It was the right thing to do. I imagine my Mom would be happy with people who would love to play it as much as she did. After a while, I realized that the memories were in my head, not on the piano. Having it or not having it has nothing to do with that and they aren't diminished in any way. So think about it.

Not much because I tend to get rid of things if I'm not using them.
If I had to pick something, maybe the electric fireplace since moving into an apartment with heat included in rent I don't use it really, but it is pretty and I keep our chess set on it. Maybe I will sell now that I'm thinking about it...
I just realized this week that I don't have a single thing on my bedroom walls except a clock. I've become really minimal I think.

I KNOW the day I would do it, that will be the day I wanted that one particular DVD. AND I still buy them.. I have some from last Christmas we haven't watched. Ugggg.... I don't know what happened because we used to watch them ALL the time. Several times.. several several times.

I could live without dvds or a good majority of them.
1/3 of my scrap stash I'm betting I wouldn't miss.
I could survive without my land line phone.
I couldn't survive without my tv or smart phone.

TVs, DVDs, DH's shot glass collection, most of the holiday decorations, DH's drum set, and all the things that we haven't used in 10 years but that we both hang on to "just in case we might need it one day."

DH has lots of stuff that no one touches but can't be gotten rid of...one day...I hope that'll change

These 2 feral cats who live with us. Neither has become a lap cat--which is why we took them in. They will interact with DH, on a minimal basis. Both barely let me touch them. Not fun to have cat hair everywhere and no warm snuggles to make it worthwhile.
Old cars: We had a 61 Ford Falcon that DH was going to restore. We had it about 8-10 years and then DH said, "Enough. He donated it to a nonprofit and they came and towed it off."

We have a giant Rubbermaid tub in the garage of VHS tapes. We don't own a VCR but DH won't re-buy movies we already own on VHS (although I do if it's a good deal) so there they sit taking up space...I'd love to get rid of them... Also our landline except our 12 year old doesn't have a cell phone yet so she needs it to call me in an emergency the rare times she is home alone.

Bought this big ol food dehydrator. I'd be perfectly happy without it. I'd love a big old food dehydrator...but first I'd have time get rid of the keurig, soda machine thingy, another one of my 3 crock pots (gAve one to my son last week) the trash compactor that I never use after I heard how loud it easy when I was visiting my downstairs neighbor....for now my printer sits on top it? My collection of vases and teapots, some books, I'm not going to pickup that many things . year. I'm going to try anyways. Purses, I buy good leather purses for their durability. And they last forever so.....

My extensive collection of Pfaltzgraff in the Yorktowne pattern....it's heavy and dated and takes up a lot of space in my cabinets and I would really like to just downsize and get a set of plain white Corelle with some serving pieces.
I hang onto it because my mother started my collection when I got married 36 years ago and added to it for many years and I don't want her to feel bad that I got rid of it. With that being said, she hasn't been to my house in several years since she lives 2 hours away and her eyesight and driving skills aren't that good in a very busy city so she probably wouldn't even know but still...
