Is your main crafting desk facing the window, wall, or middle of room?
Right now, mine faces the wall. Debating if I would like facing the middle of the room instead.

I face a wall and I wish I didn't have to, but I don't have a choice. I've been looking for just the right desk for quite a while now. I'd be ok with facing the wall if I had a better setup. Someday. It's not like it's an emergency or anything.

I am planning to face the wall. It makes the most sense layout-wise and for storage.
If I were to face the middle of the room, it'd probably be more of a standing desk situation. However, the roofline cuts into the room at an angle, so there isn't really space to take up the middle of the room.

One counter faces the wall and the other fronts the window to my front yard. The door to the living room is off to the side and if I feel too distracted by the TV or my dh on the phone, or... I just close that door, and I am successfully caccooned into my scrap world..

I face into the middle of the room. A window to my left and a TV on my right. The TV is on more for noise so I don't care if I can't see it very well. My parents live with me and my mom scrapbooks too, she is on the other side of the room, so I am facing her when I'm working. Easier to chat and not work that way.

I have a counter against the wall and I also have a large island style table in the middle of my room. So I can face either way. I usually use the counter for stamping, etc, because the lighting is better there.

My table is in the center of the room so I can stand on any side (I stand and scrap) it also has wheels/rollers so I can move it around but usually it is in the center of the room because there is a low hanging light fixture (I'm in the space most people would use as a formal dining room) and if the table is not in the right spot I hit my head on the light. I like being able to move the table, and like not facing a wall, but my kids like to join me when I'm working and I wish my table was a little bit longer. I guess there is always something...

I face a second story window, so all I really see are my neighbors roofs. I usually keep the curtains closed, so it's like a wall.

I used to face into the room and now I face a wall....Honestly, I like facing the wall much better....that being said, it's really not just a plain wall. I have shelves that are the length of my desk in front and above me on this wall. It makes it much easier to grab what I need/want while I'm crafting and I have a small shelf in a nook directly in front of me that is perfectly sized for my laptop or Ipad so I can watch a movie, or Youtube vids or whatever. I have a very picture window to my immediate right so I get lots of natural light and I really don't mind that I face a wall now.

My desk faces the wall, but to my left is a big window and to my right is a TV and then all open since my scraproom is an open loft area.

I face a large window that overlooks our backyard. So I have a view of bird feeders, oak trees, the big house at the top of the hill and eucalyptus trees on the next hill over. Sometimes I just stare out the window and bird watch and forget about crafting.😁

I don't want to face the window because I know it would be a distraction. If you have the table facing the middle of the room, do you worry about things falling off the far edge? Do you feel like you have to leave the table more clutter free since you can't push things towards the wall?

My space has no doors and is visible from our living room so I try to keep the mess down anyway but I also try to clean up/organize/arrange stuff as I work so things don't pile up/fall off the other side of the table...

It faces a wall.
Idealistically, I would love for it to face out a window or just into the room, but logistically, I've seen closets bigger than my bedroom, and there's just no way to make it work.

I have a computer desk that faces a wall, and my crafting table is in the center of the room. I like it. It's big enough for two to work at the same time.

My desk is in the middle of the room. I face a TV and have a double window to my right. Things do fall off, but I just consider it a sign to get up and walk around.

The middle and I love it because I can use both sides. One side is generally for messy + fuse tool station, and the other side for just paper and clean (non-ink) scrapping.

Neither. Mine is a large island in the middle of my room. I can move around as I wish.

Like some of the others who have tiny spaces, my desk/worktable faces the wall. Not an inch goes to waste here so we converted that wall to storage by making it a ginormous pegboard for paper craft supplies. Ikea has so many fantastic goodies you can adapt for pegboards.

I face a wall, well, more accurately, a TV and a wall. I have a small TV on one corner of my desk which is very deep desk. The TV is not hooked up yet, so I am not sure how much I will use it, or if I will end up moving it somewhere else.

My U shaped desk is in the corner of the room, so if I sit on one side of it (using my Mac laptop) I have a lovely view of the inside of an egress window well and if I sit on the other side (using my PC/cutter) it looks out into the room so I can keep tabs on DD, watch something on tv, talk to friends, etc. If I'm sitting at my work tables, I can sit on any side I want (when they're cleaned off, LOL).

I face a wall. I have considered putting my desk under the window but I don't like having my back to the door and where it currently is I can see people (and cats) approaching.

Mine is in the middle of the room and depending on what side I sit at (my desk is a table), I have the view of the street from a big double glass sliding door or the back door and a small window that looks out to the yard. I sit facing the back door as I can keep a better eye on the kids when they are in yard from that spot.

I face the center of my room, with a small window and lots of shelves behind me and a large window to my left with shelves under it. I maximize the storage in the room by not taking up a wall with my table/desk. There is also storage under the desk. My craft cave is off of the LR with a door that closes. It is right around the corner from the kitchen so if I am cooking on a timer I can be in my room at the same time. If we have guests over and I don't want them to see the mess . . . they don't even think about the room being there because of the layout of the home. Best of all worlds.

Middle of the room, but to my left is an amazing view of the Rocky Mountains (NORAD specifically).

Middle of the room. I stand or sit on the side where I can see the door. To the right of me is a window. I must be able to see the door. Don't want a monster to surprise me or anything...lol

My room is an upstairs bedroom and my desk faces the window. It's probably not the prettiest view but I do like looking outside. It's nice to focus on some spots in the distance after a lot of concentrated work.
Only problem is that it is south facing and becomes an oven in the summer.
