I was excited to hear that you can now purchase photo books through the Project Life App. However, I am having a little sticker shock. I hope the prices decrease in the future, or it could be cost prohibitive. For many. I am also hopeful that discounts will be offered at a later date. Here are the prices for faux letter books:
8x8 TOTAL FOR A FAUX LEATHER BOOK WITH 60 PAGES = $135.99
10x10 TOTAL FOR A FAUX LEATHER BOOK WITH 60 PAGES = $199.99
12x12 TOTAL FOR A FAUX LEATHER BOOK WITH 60 PAGES = $210.99 [/quote]

Photo books are apparently more expensive than I realized. However, I think other companies will be more affordable. I like the 12 x 12 size, and will look into other options I think. I will be interested to see what others are doing. I can always print them and put them in a regular album.

Of interest, the faux leather option is only for the front cover. I believe the back will be white.

Wow $$$ I'm pretty sure the product is very similar to everything else out there. They just think people will pay more for the name.

Wow...that is crazy! I love the project life app for putting multiple pictures on a 4x6 or 5x7 and for editing a bit, but I won't be ordering any of those books!

That does seem scary. My 2016 book is 8 x 6 (upgraded from 7 x 5 inches), hardcover, 82 pages (20 pages free) and cost me £32.34 - approx $39.32. Including postage.
If you're in the UK try out FreePrints (45 free 6 x 4 prints a month) and the sister app Photobooks (free 7 x 5 soft cover book of 20 pages a month) by PlanetArt, pay postage only £5.99.
It's not often i like something enough to shout about it - but they are brilliant.

That's just crazy expensive. Cray-zee. More expensive than Artifact Uprising!
There are plenty of ways to get a decent photo book printed if you shop around. Blurb with ProLine paper is totally good enough for me. I just wait until they have one of their 30 or 40% off codes floating around to order the book(s) I've already made but not had the opportunity to get printed yet.
They even do linen covers these days.

I just went to AdoramaPix to price compare. For the faux leather cover: 8x8 is $89.99 for 60 pages 10x10 is $149.99 for 60 pages 12x12 is $189.99 for 60 pages
and that's without any promo codes (other covers styles vary in price)
