I have been saving the prettiest Daisy D's paper (sage green with pink rosebuds) for my daughter's baby album. My stash is like a graveyard of dearly departed companies. LOL

I hoard Scenic Route & Chatterbox. Every so often (when I'm not frozen, of course) I go checking out eBay & Etsy to see if anyone is selling any.

I just gave away 3 inches of chatterbox ! At least you didn't throw it away Now that would be tragic. Part of the reason for my freeze is that I truly don't have space for more than 3 sheets of paper right now, never mind 3 inches, so it's probably best you didn't know. I'd be trying to steal space from DH's desk to stash it! Save

I never understood the love for chatterbox papers. The papers were so thin and their color lines were so hard to match to any cardstock but their own. I was thrilled to find anew online sb store that had a bunch of the older basic Grey lines. I stocked up a while ago.

I most often work from a cardstock background ... so I love thinner pattern papers! I didn't care for the advent of double sided patterns and heavier weight patterns. I've learned to live with it, of course -- and it didn't completely stop my bad paper buying habits!

My DH has been encouraging me to keep my hoarde. He says I'll have more time to make scrapping a priority and will use it! Looking at the list reminds me how many good designs I have stashed.

I've actually caught myself looking on Ebay for older Basic Gray. Sigh. I've looked and purchased. I stopped scrapping for a while and missed quite a few of the last lines of Basic Grey. When I first started with this hobby, they were the first company to make a line I "had to have".

Remember when Basic Grey first came out and everyone was so freaked out because it looked "dirty"?

I have been saving the prettiest Daisy D's paper (sage green with pink rosebuds) for my daughter's baby album. I used the same paper for a heritage album of childhood photos of my mom and Aunt. I'm quite certain I have scraps of that paper in a 12x12 envelope.

O Scrap! I still have some of their stuff in an old PSB (Paper Sticker Binder). Don't laugh, that cute style has come back around... that's why I keep my stash.
