i love mine. I use it to cut my stamped images. i know it can do other things but haven't tried it. I don't know how well it works for cutting out pattern paper. 500 euros is quite expensive though. I guess it would depend on how much you plan to use it.

I have one but use is rarely due to my space limitations. It's great for scanning and cutting. Julie Fei-Fan Balzar has 93 videos on you tube on using the SNC.

I love my Scan N Cut. Julie's videos are great. I have a lot of stamps and it makes it so easy to use those as embellishments. I bought mine about a year ago and it was $299 on Amazon. If you scan an image from a stamp (or anywhere else) you can re-size and cut it out. You can also break down an image and cut it out of different colored papers to make a paper pieced embellishment. There is a lot information on Youtube and Facebook groups too. There is no reason it can't cut an image from a sheet of pattern paper, except you can't "stress" the processing software. Like asking it to scan and cut 50 little images at once from a printed sheet of paper might be too much. Brother has a very informative site, and they are constantly updating their software with images and projects on line.
