I saw the post 'what did you forget to take to a weekend crop'...
So what is the craziest thing you have packed up?
For me:
Years ago I would bring my own chair (I had a vehicle big enough at the time).. lol.. but I wanted my cozy chair.
I brought an extra table.. one that matches those white tables they usually provide but it is like a smaller version of it.. just big enough to use as an end table.. I love it.
Otherwise, count me in to bringing everything but the kitchen sink type person.
I haven't been to a crop for so long.. I miss it terribly!

If I am going to a three or four day crop, I will toss my Raksog cart in my suv as well as a rolling shelf. I will also find out the measurements of the table and plan to build my wall of punches and supplies. I keep a special butt cushion in my vehicle as well.

I certainly always have enough stuff to build a wall on the far side of my table. Punches and inks and stamps and dies and embossing folders. A bag full of cases with brads and eyelets and metal charms and whatnots. My cuttlebug and plates, a tray of random tools. (BTW, my MM eyelet setter is in that tray as well as my Crop o Dial). Have never brought my own chair, but have brought a folding chair liner that gives my back heat &/or massage. The most interesting people at a crop are those who laugh at me cuz I have so much stuff-- they show up with a rolly briefcase and their Silhouette--and then come over to borrow stuff

I've never brought a chair, but I have brought a 2x4 white folding table. I like to have my Cricut on it. I have also brought my Ott light, if I haven't been to a location previously. I always bring my fan .

Just got back from a 3 day crop last weekend. I know at least one person brought their own chair. I felt like I was the person who brought everything because I was not able to plan very well ahead of time. I did bring a large Rubbermaid tote and used it as a table next to me to store things on without cluttering my table space. Lots of people there with their own electronic die cut machines.

We have done the sneaking in the adult beverages (although I don't think we really had to sneak..lol)
One time I did see a lady bring in over 7 of those plastic carts with the different colored drawers.. maybe 6 or 7 drawers.. and on wheels. They were all lined up against a wall. For someone who brings a lot to a crop, I thought that was way over the top. That didn't include all her other bins/boxes/etc. In most places there wouldn't have been room for all that...

I think the craziest thing I've brought is a cooler with adult beverages and an Ott light. We always bring adult beverages. That's part of the fun. I don't drink alcohol so this is not on my list. I would have no idea if others are imbibing unless they get raucous and drunk which I would not want to be around anyway. It's hard to be the only sober person.
I have been to hundreds of crops and I just can't think of anything odd that I brought to a weekend crop or any crop really. I know I scrapped a little memory pouch of my dad's cremains but not sure I did that at a crop.
My friend always brings her own teapot and brews tea for herself, but I pretty much stick to water. She also sometimes brings her own pillow and blanket but I don't do that either.
So I am going to settle on water shoes - when I went to a beach crop in November I knew I wanted to get in the water a bit so I brought water shoes along. I put them on in the crop room, went down to the water, came back and changed back into my sneakers and put the shoes by the wall to dry.

bear spray. a few friends went to a YMCA camp for a scrapbook retreat. It was in bear country. So leaving the common hall to walk to our cabins at night was interesting.

You would be ok around us. We don't get drunk, just a couple of glasses of wine.

We never got drunk at our retreats either...... heck who wants to pay for a retreat just to have a hangover. Mainly one or two glasses of wine or beer or whatever someone's choice was... usually to wind down before bedtime which was usually around 3am! haha...
One retreat I went to there was a bear sighting... no bear spray though! That crop had about 75 woman.. so we all stayed inside until we got the all clear.
Most of our retreats though were roughly 8 gals.... we rent a 'scrapbooking' cabin and have tons of fun.

I keep that on my keychain/dog leash. We have coyote issues. I never even think about it. One crop had a baby/momma moose in the back acreage. Lots of photos being taken that morning.

A breast pump I was still nursing DS but he was weaning himself by then. So it was more for my physical comfort than for serious pumping.

We always bring adult beverages. That's part of the fun. Which could explain the photo DH found that was adhered upside down... Which is why I don't drink at crops - all my pages would look like that! Can't think of anything exactly 'crazy' that I've brought . . . Maybe the egg crate mattress foam thingie my son takes camping? We went to a crop at a kid's camp & the mattresses were known to be terrible, so we were encouraged to bring whatever would make our sleeping more comfortable. Now, I've seen other people bring what I can only describe as scaffolding to an SDV. I mean this structure was taller than they were when they sat down and went on all 3 sides of their seat. The had a little peep hole at the bottom so they could have a little contact w/the gal across from them. And EVERYTHING was color coordinated - pink & brown. They had covers for the back of their chairs! Their M&M's were pink & brown. It was hilarious! And on a more intimate weekend crop (just 4 of us) at my friend's brother's beach house, one of the gals (who I know pretty well) brought bottled water. Just enough for herself for the weekend. And she put her initials on them. Can't make this stuff up.

I actually do! I waited till they weren't there & then stealthily snapped. Sadly, I can't seem to figure out how to upload pics. When I do, I'll be sure to share it!

Once to a weekend crop I brought a small TV with a built in DVD player so I could watch a movie late at night.

I don't really bring anything crazy.
I went to an SDV event over 10 years ago and this woman brought her own executive office chair, extra tables and I don't know what. She used a small u-haul trailer thing to bring all her stuff.
I've seen people set up scaffolding on their tables. The woman had to stand up to reach the top shelf. That's just so much work to pack, load, unload, unpack, pack, load, unload, unpack and put away.

That's where I took the photo of the 'scaffolding', lol. The next one is always one of the stories I tell on the 'Crop Nightmares' thread. Sad that they let it all go downhill.
