I am interested in digital scrapbooking. Before I jump into the deep end I want to know what to expect in how much it will cost me. My questions for experienced digital scrapbookers are:
1. How do you print your pages? Print at home (which printer?) or at a store (where and how much per page?)?
2. Which software program do you use? (My computer is an iMac)
3. Which on-line classes do you recommend?
Thank you in advance,

I have been scrapping digitally for years and I love it. I create both paper and digital layouts but these days it's mostly a combination of the two. When I do a digital page, it's always 12x12 and I print at Costco. Price went up quite a while ago but I still print there because I like the quality and it's convenient. I'm in Canada so my cost is likely higher than if you're in the US-it's close to $7 to print a 12x12 page. Used to be just over $3.
As for programs, I use a MacBook Pro and photoshop elements, but if you're not familiar with photoshop (or elements) the learning curve is huge. It took me a long time to learn it, and I even continue to learn new things, but the best part about knowing how to use it is that it helps with photo editing, and that I use a lot.
Classes: I've never taken a class on elements, but I've heard that Jessica Sprauge has some really good ones. I actually have an old magazine on digital scrapping that she put out years ago and found it helpful. Designer Digital also has some good tutorials on YouTube.

I went digi in 2009. I use photoshop elements and took my classes from JessicaSprague dot com. She is a really good instructor and her voice is very even and calming. I purchased most of supplies from her site now called Snap Click Supply. I originally printed at Costco and it was $1.99 for a 12x12 but its now $3.99 each so I just have the pages scroll on my screensaver.

Not a digi scrapper but another option, depending on how you scrap is to print photo books. If you like podcasts check out Modern Photo Solutions. Steph is a digi scrapper and has transtioned to the PL app for most of her scrapping. She has a free class about google photos and a new class on google photos and the PL app. She uses PL items as well as digi downloads for scrapping in the app.

I use both Photoshop Elements and the Project Life app. I print at home on a Canon Pixma Pro. Here in Canada between ink and paper I think it costs around $3 to print at home. The one time I ordered 12x12 prints it was from Persnickety Prints in the US. It cost $2 a page. Between our exchange rate and the shipping I decided I'd rather print at home. If you are using Photoshop Elements, a good class is Digital Scrapbooking for Absolute Beginners. It costs $38 USD but you get some digi supplies and a template with it.
