But not "romantic" -- something suitable to send my family members? Not googly eyes, not any sort of "critter" --- why can't I find anything??

I used some of the Heart Day by Crate Paper line and Tim Holtz architectural Valentine's stamps. There is a queen of hearts card and a number 14 I really liked for non-romantic cards.

They do have hearts, a bit of pink and red, but nary a critter in sight... Sadly, only digital and a Silhouette Studio 3 file.

I have used cupcakes and heart elements. I'm with you - I hate the googly eyes or faces on things like coffee cups.

Thanks jane I don't mind pink and red and hearts -- and I like Silhouette files! I'll look for those ... Love your cards dewryce -- but I don't have those stamps! But I'll keep the design in mind!

Thanks mikklynn Loydene You won't find these exactly - they're mine. I made them to teach a friend to make cards. I was chuffed with the envelope myself, it's fun to put together. I've been thinking of other ways to use it... sending you hugs, letters, etc. with different motifs.

Jane (not sure why I can't link your name - it didn't show up on the list), your cards are cute! I'm going to try the envelope card. The sentiment "Sending You Love" is a good one too, that works for family and friend cards. Thanks for posting your work.

Found from an "old" -- well, better said as "long term" :-)!, favorite Sandi Genovese. Sandi's style is unchanging -- and fun! Valentine with Accordion strip

Loydene, lol Sandy Genovese. That's a name from the past. Another cute card idea.

If you hover over her name with your cursor, you will see what the "actual" name is for linking - in this case it's janeb.
I had to have someone explain it to me a while back.

Thanks, I haven't tried it that way. It sounds a lot easier, but I'm not sure I can do it on my iPad. I always use the icon link in the detailed reply box. The user names all appear as you type the first letters, but for some reason this wasn't on the "jane" list.

I would have done a direct link to my board, but there's lots of critters because I have a kid in elementary school.
