I will probably watch for the commercials, but I'm just ready for the whole thing to be over and done with! It is local to us and is already doing a number on traffic in some areas. And forget going out to eat this weekend - several of the top restaurants have been bought out for private parties. Super Bowl - go away!

While my heart is with the Packers, I am a Giants fan - so I root for the Giants and whoever is playing the Pats. The fact that I live in Georgia doesn't matter - go Falcons!

Falcons all the way! All the fawning over Brady and the Patriots makes me nauseous.
My prediction, Falcons 35, Patriots 31

Rooting for the Falcons because I have actually been to a game a few years ago. I know its a silly reason but I do have to pick a team.

I was born a Patriot fan having been born and raised there until I was 30 years old.
We are all Boston team fans...Red Sox, Celtic, Bruins and the Pat's...it's in my blood.
That being said...I totally understand the anti Patriot sentiments and would probably hate them and Brady too if it wasn't.

I live five minutes from the Superbowl venue. I'm rooting for no noise, no violence and for everyone to go home immediately after.

I live five minutes from the Superbowl venue. I'm rooting for no noise, no violence and for everyone to go home immediately after. Good luck with that! I hope everything goes smoothly, but prepare for the worse! Yes, I'm going to order my groceries to be delivered Friday night, I think, and then we're hunkering down for the weekend as much as possible. Complicating things is the fact that my youngest daughter's 14th birthday is Friday, and she had wanted to take a group of friends to the movies - but I'm thinking the crowds will be repressive.

Even on Friday crowds will be bad? I'm not familiar with the Superbowl except for watching it on tv. I know for Nascar, they have all these pre-race events, so crowds can get up there in the days prior to the actual race. Same for Superbowl? We live in a Houston suburb, according to news all this week, crowds are already bad. There are activities going on all week.

They have a big party called "Superbowl Live" going on downtown all week. Apparently a lot of people come to town for the whole week.

These are my two favorite teams so I'm good with whoever wins, although being born and raised a few miles from Boston, I might be just a tiny bit happier if New England wins again.

I really don't care a fig about pro football. My husband is a life-long Packers fan so his team got knocked out. But we'll watch because hey, super bowl, right? And I'll pull for the Falcons as both my parents were born and raised in Atlanta and most of my extended family still lives there.

I'll be watching for the commercials, but rooting for "not-the-Patriots." Which this year happens to be the Falcons.

I am voting for Patriots because they beat the Steelers and I am thankful! I live in Pgh. but am not from here, and I am tired of all the bragging. So go Patriots!

I am not a big football fan anymore (used to be a big fan). So I am confused as to why so many are picking the Falcons because they aren't the Patriots.
