Welcome to February. Use the below list to inspire your project. You can use one, some or all the prompts on the list. Substitutions are welcome and encouraged. • cardstock as a major part of your project • something with text • use your paper scraps • typewriter/computer journaling • embossing (dry or heat) • enamel dots All types of projects count (paper, digi, hybrid, PL, art journaling, anything else you create) and if you share your projects online please link them here so we can admire and leave some love. You can find instructions to post in the Refupeas gallery in this thread but shout out if you need help. I hope you find time to play along and I can't wait to see what everyone creates.

hmmm... I have some photos and notes on my scrap counter and I just may be able to adjust the planned pages to meet this challenge...
Won't get to it until at least early next week though. I am printing off this list to remind me.

Here is my page. Just realized I missed the enamel dots, but I think I got the rest, and I may add some dots before it is stored in my album. making memories together by Gramma Dee, on Flickr The base page is cs, as well as the embossed piece, the title matt, and the backing for the journaling. Used up scraps for everything except the bg page. The text pp is KaiserCraft. I computer journaled (I usually do it in handwriting), then printed it in blue on vellum and heat embossed it with clear ep. Also did some dry embossing, so maybe that makes up for the dots? Thanks for the challenge. It helped to get me going after a weekend "off".

grammadee There is no punishment for substitutions, lol. I love the winter embossing piece. It's so pretty.

grammadee you got 5 out of 6 which is still significantly better than anything I've managed to achieve this month! I left you some love in the gallery.

Ooh i think I can handle this one. I love text paper and I have way too much of it that I hoard! grammadee I love that embossed panel on your page. I think 5 out of 6 is great!

This was a tough challenge for me. I rarely use my heat embossing tool, so I did something I have NEVER done before, heat embossed the little flags on the upper left DIRECTLY on my layout. Whew - luckily they came out great! I used typewriter font stamps in the title at the bottom for the "my favorite" words. 2017 February Stash Challenge by Lynn Mikkelson, on Flickr

Those little embossed flags are a nice finishing touch to this page. I like the scalloped borders too. Left some love on Flickr.

I've been meaning to do this challenge all month and forgot! I did a layout that met requirements for this challenge and the Bash It challenge too. I used cardstock for a large portion of the layout. The background is actually dry embossed. (I hope pre-embossed cardstock counts!) I sanded it to get the color core to show up a bit. I also used enamel dots, a sticker with text, and lots of paper scraps. I don't do journaling on a computer very often so I skipped that. I wasn't planning on a color combo like this. When I pulled some red scraps from my stash, it really seemed to work well. Dance With Me by lilacgal, on Flickr

I combined the sketch challenge and the stash challenge. I used Nuvo drops instead of enamel dots. My card stock was embossed. I typed my journaling, and used scraps of paper for the smaller strips. There is text on the card. Thanks for the challenge. Christmas for Cats by Jacqueline Bruce, on Flickr

(I hope pre-embossed cardstock counts!) Absolutely! The rules are very flexible with what counts. I left you some love in the gallery.

My card stock was embossed. I didn't even notice the cardstock was embossed on this page when I left you praise in the gallery. Love this page!

I combined this challenge with the bonus/mood board challenge. I started with the colors. They worked together fast and easy and I was shocked at how muchof the list I had in my stash. This is another pic dd sent me from the blue ridge mountains.

Look at you getting hooked on doing challenges! i am going to add this into your points as a Free Style 28-4-28 entry because I happened to find it here, but if you take on any more archived challenges just link what you created to the 28-4-28 Talk & Tally thread and claim as Free Style

Don't worry about the points for me, it's not a big deal. I'm having trouble finding the challenges. I'm easily confused!

The master thread for 28-4-28 is at the top the board--first post you see in all the stickies. You can go there to "claim" points for a freestyle project. If you are looking for a particular challenge, or even to see what challenges there are, you can also check them out quickly. Each day, as the girls post their challenges, I link them to the first post in the February long 28-4-28 Talk & Tally Thread
