Must have been at CHA but this is the first time I've seen them. I apologize if this is a re-post. I didn't see anything posted that I could find.
I think I may really like them and would get a lot of use out of them! I saw they'll be shipping in April.
What do you think?

Those look cool. Wonder if you need a punching "system" for them?
Now that I have so many shapes (circles, ovals, hearts, eggs...) of nesting thin metal dies, which each have a number of sizes to choose from and most have an open center to make sure I am cutting out just the part of the pp I want, I wouldn't really have a use for these unless there was a particular shape that caught my eye.

I'm with grammadee on this one. My thin dies already give me this option. Now, I can't cut a heart shape in the middle of my 12x12 paper with my dies like you could with these punches. I don't think that's something I would do very darn often though. Judging by the price of one punch these days I'm pretty sure this set is going to have a higher price tag (did they mention a price point?) so wouldn't be worth it to me. Thin dies also take up far less storage space which is always another important factor to me.

I hear what you're saying, but I think I could still use a few of these because I only have a cuttlebug, so I couldn't run a full 12x12 through it to get a thin die in the middle of a page. So, hmmmmm. I think maybe one or two ;*)

I think they might be magnetic. I have other punches that use magnets to get the punch in the right place. I turn my punches over and can do this with many of them (not in the middle of the page), but if you punch in the middle of the page (like the example), it probably means you won't be using the paper as a 12 x 12 anyway.

They look nice, BUT.....
Really, other than punching in the middle of the page, there is no reason why the 12x12 paper could not have been cut to accommodate a regular punch, that you then hold upside-down so that you can see exactly what part of the paper you are punching.
I do that all the time to get certain small images that I want on my punchie.
I also feel like some of the other previous posters who have said that our stash is already well built, and we have a die for that.

I can't run a 12x12 or even 8.5x11 through my big shot. If i only want to cut out a small piece i don't have to destroy a full sheet. Or i may want to cut windows into a full sheet as a design element. There are limitations but i can see this as a nice option. I have some magnetic punches from Martha Stewart that do the same thing.

They remind me of the MS I have in my stash, except the MS punches are larger.

I really like these...I don't have too many punches or think dies, and I think it would be hit and miss to try to fussy cut just the right spot on my Silhouette. I think I will definitely be investing in one or two of my favourite shapes.
ETA...as a cardmaker, I also like the potential of having a quick and easy way of cutting a spot out of the front of a card.

I have to agree with some of the other posters. The first thing I thought was that I could do this with one of my dies. I rarely cut 12x12 paper so I don't think I'll be buying these. For people who don't have a die collection though these would be pretty nice.
