He celebrates every birthday the same. He goes out to red lobster with his dad and then home for cake and presents. I bought him a bottle of booze with our name on it.

No big family deal. They were well established in their own adult lives by that point (joined military as 17 year olds for the oldest two) The youngest joined the military at 18. Technically he didn't get to celebrate his 21st birthday. He was on military training and they crossed the international date line twice in a short amount of time. Due to the direction they crossed the dateline and time he missed his birthday on both sides of the date line.

Sadly, no. My daughter had moved away about four months before her birthday and my son didn't to want to do anything...they both celebrating friends.
