I am taking Augmentin which is wreaking havoc on my girl area. The outer area feels like fire. I remembered a pea recommending lavender essential oil for calming burning skin. I googled some more and decided to try coconut oil mixed with lavender essential oil. LIFESAVER! Just a little on the outer parts and my burning sensation has gone almost completely down.
What other essential oils have you found to be effective for various soothing?
Augmentin should automatically come with either diflucan or lavender essential oil.

I learned that when I have the chance to buy an extra flourless chocolate cake and don't, I am dumb. I deserve what I get. Hunger. I have learned my lesson.

When the peas recommend a product; you should buy it. A few of the ones, the Big Throw (big hit with entire family) Korean beauty cloths, and the latest was the Celestron Skynight Binoculars. I bought the binoculars for my teenage son's birthday and he loves them! There are so many other products that I have bought; but I can't remember all of them.

I always ask for it when I am prescribed an antibiotic. Sometimes I need it, sometimes I don't. Also, if I don't ask for it and have an issue, my Dr will prescribe it over the phone.

When I was prescribed augmentin last year the DR told me that I should take probiotics with it as it wreaks havoc on your stomach. Even with the probiotics I still had an upset stomach. I am so thankful she told me as I can't imagine how bad it would have been with nothing!

Augmentin - ugh. It ripped apart my stomach so badly that I had them put it on my allergies list. Hope you feel better soon.

Ditto this - I am almost thru with an augmentin prescription right now, and the probiotics have really helped with both the upset stomach and are also supposed to help avoid the yeast infection that tends to follow.

Fiesta dishes Kohl's Big Throw
I know there are MANY more.. my mind drew a blank...
I always suggest this for dry skin.. so I will recommend it again.. BAG BALM... it's sold for cow's utters, but it is the BEST stuff in the world. My doctor recommended it for diaper rash..used it ever since... 21 years ago! I put it on my heels at night with cotton socks.. do that a couple of times in a row and you have soft heels!! I use it on private parts, elbows, feet, knees.. whatever it is!! And not the lotion kind.. the kind in the green can. (I usually find it at Walgreens)

Doesn't anyone read? The OP asked about Essential Oils! "What other essential oils have you found to be effective for various soothing?"
I use this for headaches - 20 drops peppermint, 15 drops lavender, 15 drops frankincense, 15 drops eucalyptus. Put in a roller ball bottle and fill the bottle the rest of the way with fractionated coconut oil.
And this for my arthritis - 5 drops each of ginger, eucalyptus, tea tree and lavender oils. Place in a roller ball and top off with franctionated coconut oil.

Something else that helps for that is plain greek yogurt. It clears any infection and takes the burn out. LIke the Coconut oil, learned that here too.. and then my dr suggested it. It sounds really bizaree but it really does work! You learn a lot from the peas! I also learned some good tricks for getting a sliver out from the peas.

We use Tea Tree Oil for us AND our doggies for many kinds of skin issues such as minor wounds, rashes, and DH especially likes to mix it with coconut oil for painful cold sores he gets on his lip occasionally.
