I've had my Cricut Explore for a while now but still use my Cameo for 90% of my crafting. Today while in Design Space I noticed 37 cartridges are marked as "Free". This includes two of my favorites- A Child's Year, and Walk In My Garden. Have these always been free and I didn't notice? Or does Provocraft have different cartridges free on a rotating basis?

I'm pretty darn sure they've always been available. Or at least since I've owned an Air (about a year).

Every week there is a rotating featured cartridge or series of cut files for free. It is only available during that week, you can't save and cut the files except that week. There may be other cartridges that have become free all the time.

I will be checking out that weekly freebie! Maybe it will motivate me to do some pages if it is only available for seven days.

I think it is rotating to hook the customers into actually buying the cartridge or images at a later time. I do like they are letting us work with some of the cartridges. I can make good decisions on my cartridge purchases now. I know when the Cricut designs were not online I made some of the wackiest purchases ever because I just had to have that one image for that one project, lol.

I just checked again and everything is back to normal. Must have been some kind of mix up. I don't even see some of the cartridges listed any more. Oh well, glad I got the cuts that I did.
