I live in Austin, where Kendra Scott started her business and where her flagship store is. And it is pretty much sacreligious not to own several pairs of her earrings. And at least 3 or 4 necklaces. It's a status symbol--do YOU have a pair that matches every outfit? Do you have her latest design? Today was our Valentine party and all the moms were at school. And they ALL had on at least one piece of Kendra Scott. Today, the hot-pink ones were very popular (duh--to match the pink valentine sweaters). Don't get me wrong--I own 5 pairs of her earrings and several necklaces. And I enjoy wearing them. But geez, I like to mix it up. I would get SO bored wearing the same damn earrings (in different colors) every day. And it gets to a point when they're SO everywhere--that they're just not cool anymore. Also--PSA--I know women who wear the big ones every day, and their earholes are starting to stretch. Someone around here needs to do a Kendra Scott intervention. And I think we're gonna need a 12-step group... (God--please no one rat me out on this. I think they just may send me to get reprogrammed...)

I'll go get reprogrammed with you! I like it OK, but I prefer to wear things that are not owned by 50% of the people I know. And I'm in Austin, too.

Yes, it's a thing here, and no, I don't own any.

Funny, one of my co-worker's daughters name is Kendra Scott. She graduated with my son. But she lives here and works at Costco Never heard of your Kendra Scott. But up here in WA we are usually the last to get the fads.

Yes, it's popular here in DFW too. I'm the oddball that doesn't own even one of her pieces. It's just not my thing.

Yeah, its a huge thing here in Amarillo. I have a couple of necklaces - but no earrings. Honestly? I don't even wear the necklaces I have.

Never heard of it. I wear what I like and don't give a flying eff what the trends are. Once you hit 50 a magical thing happens-this feeling of conviction and affirmation comes over you and you shout to the ceiling, "I'll wear what I want, do what I want (within reason) and I don't care what anyone else thinks!"
For jewelry, well as far as a necklace goes I always wear my gold Miraculous Medal. It's a Catholic religious medal that I never take off. For earrings I usually go simple, right now I'm wearing small gold hoops.
I like simple classic jewelry. But that's me. Do what you want. Wear your style. Be you. And don't worry about the trends.

Never heard of it and wouldn't buy if I did. I have one pair of diamond earrings, my wedding ring and 2 necklaces--one from my husband and one from my daughters and that's as fancy as I get.

I think that can happen at 40 too! I'm 40 in may and I'm ok with my simplicity. When I was younger I loved accessorize go but now it's not important to me.

Never heard of her. I wear a lot of different kinds of jewelry but have never heard of/seen any of hers in SW Florida. I'm not one to follow the herd tho, more likely to go in the opposite direction. I'm stubborn like that, LOL.

It isn't huge here, but there is a store in one of the pricier yuppy shopping areas. I have a few pairs of earrings and I think 2 of the necklaces. I personally like it because of the shapes and a few of the stones. They are good base pieces that go with a lot. I don't care about having tons of the different colors. But I definitely don't wear it everyday, have tons of other jewelry I love. Honestly how you feel about KS is how I feel about Rustic Cuff. Or as some women call it here, "he Mother Ship. She has two stores open here now and they are always packed. I don't get the appeal of it at all and do not own one piece. But women line up at the store and online on new release days. And post pics of their "stacks" every day. It's almost cult-like. lol

Very popular among the teachers at my school. I have a few pairs, but I switch them up with other earrings, too. I have one long necklace with the tassel on it.
My girls each have one of her little necklaces. They're big with the teens here. The earrings, not so much.

I've never heard of it either.
I do know the Karen Scott clothing line at Macy's, but that's as close as I've got.

It's catching on around here. They did fundraisers at a couple of work events so I have some pieces. I buy whatever they're supporting weekends sexual health research with really. Funny, there is actually a new store near me, dh took me this afternoon to design a couple of pieces with their design station...He pretty much knows I'll shop anywhere they pour me mimosas. I'm booking a shopping event for my girls, they'll love it!

Never heard of it. But I admit I do not pay any attention to labels.
I also have a deep aversion to wearing trends or fads. If everyone has it or want it, then I do not. In terms of jewelry, I would much rather spend that amount of money with an artisan I find at a fair.

I was wondering if it was a Texas thing. Seems like yes..but spreading?
I like her jewelry--I'm just sick of the classic earrings to match every flipping outfit....

Looked it up, we apparently have a few stores here in So. Cal., one at a mall I go to about 4 times a year. I guess I just never paid attention since jewelry stores don't interest me. And none of my friends or co-workers ever mention it.

I have a couple pieces I've gotten in Popsugar boxes. But not really my thing, the earrings are to big and heavy. Haven't seen it in stores around me, but I don't do a ton of shopping either.

Never heard of it in New Zealand My New Zealander SIL (now a TX transplant) loves it. But she's cool. She likes to get the unusual pieces. And she wears lots of other jewelry, as well. So not a sheeple. But before she moved here, it was a great gift for me to get her because she loved it and couldn't get it there...

I'm not a jewelry person. I googled and do like some of the pieces. I don't think it's a thing here. I was expecting big and chunky because everything is bigger in Texas.
