This guy's tweets are chilling: twitter.com/20committeeHe's this guy: John Schindler is a security expert and former National Security Agency analyst and counterintelligence officer. A specialist in espionage and terrorism, he’s also been a Navy officer and a War College professor. This is going to blow. The IC doesn't relish being lied to nor having the country in bed w/Russia from top to bottom. Trump used and abused them by standing in front of their dead and preening himself. He called out their bad intel on Iraq when really they presented lots of intel that Bush chose to read only one way. Don't mess w/the IC. Even Joe Scarborough can see the writing on the way.. www.mediaite.com/online/scarborough-calls-out-republicans-for-pretending-this-is-about-leaks-not-flynn-you-can-just-stop-that-bs/"Scarborough continued Wednesday, “We have information and the intel community has had information of connection between the Russians and members of Donald Trump’s campaign at the very same time that the Russians are trying to fix the United States of America’s election for President. Republicans and editorial writers can not be so stupid to think they just picked on poor Michael Flynn out of nowhere.” “Republicans, you can just stop that BS,” he added firmly.
“Note to Republicans,” added cohost Mika Brzezinski. “This only gets worse.”"

The overlooked check and balance: the thousands in the US govt who take an oath to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States, against all enemies, foreign and domestic."

Wow, I'm reading his tweets. Harsh stuff. If he's to be believed, before this is all over, Trump will be a guest of our prison system.

But the Republicans would have to do something about this. The dems can't do it alone. I don't have any faith that they will.

I would be shocked, and I mean completely shocked and unable to speak, if a sitting or previous president (or FLOTUS, or VP ) were ever imprisoned for literally anything they ever did. I do think if they can prove Trump ordered relations between his team and Russia to rig the election he will be impeached. But that's about it.

"Trump likewise demonstrates remarkable inconsistency, since only a few months ago, he considered how purloined Clinton and Democratic National Committee emails went public to be utterly unimportant compared to their content. In the president’s eyes, IC leaks of information unflattering to him are illegal and immoral, while Russian intelligence stealing his opponents’ emails and divulging them to the public via Wikileaks are the height of integrity and patriotism.... Republicans should be advised to put country over party right now and pursue rigorous inquiries into the full extent of Trump’s Moscow links and their impact on the election—and the new administration. Washington is at the precipice of a scandal unlike anything seen since Watergate. Indeed, KremlinGate promises to be much seedier and more troubling than anything proffered by President Nixon. Here the inevitable comparisons to Watergate fall short. Tricky Dick committed domestic crimes, and paid the price for them, but Nixon was in no way beholden to a foreign power—much less one which has several thousand nuclear weapons pointed at the United States. Neither did Nixon collude with that foreign power’s spies to arrange his own election to the presidency." observer.com/2017/02/donald-trump-administration-kremlingate-russia-mike-flynn/

WSJ corroborates 20committee: "U.S. intelligence officials have withheld sensitive intelligence from President Donald Trump because they are concerned it could be leaked or compromised, according to current and former officials familiar with the matter.... Mr. Trump didn’t explain Wednesday why he asked for Mr. Flynn’s resignation. Instead, he suggested the leaks and the media were to blame for his ouster. “I think in addition to that from intelligence, papers are being leaked, things are being leaked,” Mr. Trump said. “It’s criminal action. It’s a criminal act and it’s been going on for a long time before me but now it’s really going on.”"www.wsj.com/articles/spies-keep-intelligence-from-donald-trump-1487209351Trump on leaks before the election: www.cnbc.com/2017/02/15/trump-loved-wikileaks-during-the-campaign-but-hes-not-so-fond-of-leaks-as-president.html"At a campaign rally in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, in October, then-candidate Donald Trump proclaimed, "I love WikiLeaks."
He went on to read hacked emails related to opponent Hillary Clinton that WikiLeaks had made public. Trump referred to the documents several times during the final stretch of a bitter campaign. "
