I am typically skeptical about things like shakeology, especially because they are so much more expensive than other brands. But I have a few friends and family who are big into them and swear by them. I'm wondering what the peas experiences have been? Also, I have yet to find a shake that tastes good when just shaken (not with a blender). I would love to find something that I could just make during the work day. Does shakeology really taste ok when you shake it with liquid?

I don't know for sure what you mean by "good". Nothing is really good when shaken with water, if you ask me. I've had it that way and it's OK, not what I'd call "good". I do like shakeology a lot when it's blended. I like the vegan strawberry/vegan choc combo pack, I think my system handles it better than the usual whey-based shake.
They are expensive but I haven't found anything I like better.

I didn't like it when I just used the shaker I got with my order. I did like it blended with almond milk, strawberries or bananas and a couple of drops of monk fruit. They are very expensive though. Which is why I no longer buy it.

I haven't tried Shakelolgy but have a few friends who liked them a lot. I use ProteinMilkshake Bar without using the blender and they are good. I just use a nut milk around 35 calories for a cup. Oh, and I actually use 1 and a half cups of milk. I've tried most of the flavors. My favorite are cupcake batter, rockyroad, and pumpkin pie. I didn't care for the vegan ones at all. I had to choke it down when mixed with water but feel that way about every meal replacement drink I've tried. My cousin sells Juice Plus so I use their chocolate powder for my morning smoothies but it is about the same price as Shakeology and tastes just as bad when not blended with yummy tasting things

I enjoy the taste of Shakeology just shaken in a blender cup with water and a few ice cubes. I also enjoy the taste of Garden of Life just shaken in a blender cup with water and a few ice cubes. There is a huge difference in price, so I've switched over to Garden of Life. (I like that it's organic and it has probiotics. That is something that I liked about the Shakeology and my system missed when I stopped it.)

I like shakeology a lot-I like the consistency of it (the shake is thicker and fluffier than the protein powders I have tried)
I don't know of anyone who just mixed it with water-they used it just like protein powder in a smoothie. My smoothie is typically chocolate protein powder, spinach, coconut almond milk, some banana and a smidge of PB2 & ice in the blender.
I liked how it curbed my appetite and the ingredients seemed good. It also gave me a little bit of energy (granted, that could be all in my head, I am highly suggestible, lol) but I never felt jittery or weird, like I do with products with lots of caffeine.
I only stopped using it due to the cost of it, otherwise I would still be using it.

I would try the Shakeology samples FIRST! There is something in the Shakeology that gives me massive headaches. I am sensitive to certain chemicals/additives/supplements and Shakeology did not work for me. They suggested I slowly start the Shakeology. NO way would I take something that gives me headaches, especially at that price point. I use a Wholefood's version of Plant based protein shake, blended with a mini Oster. The little Oster could be kept at work.

I didn't care for it (way too thick and I didn't like the taste) and thankfully it was just a small sample pack. It is super pricey and has too many things in it for me. I just use gold standard 100% whey protein vanilla flavor in a shaker with almond milk and a small bit of cocoa powder because it makes a better flavor than chocolate flavored protein powders.

I usually use vega essentials or thrive shake mix (I like the thrive shakes but not sure I want to continue the whole program). Mixed with plain kefir, almond/cashew/or flax milk, collagen powder, chia, avocado. I usually have to eat lunch in my car. I guess I do have an outlet in my car so I could keep a small blender in the car, but it would be nice to have something that tasted decent just mixed with some nut milk.
After I posted this, I remember that there was a pretty good tasting sample of a protein powder (seemed similar to the vega) at Sams club recently. I don't think they blended it, just mixed with almond milk. I'll have to look at that again. I do like that shakeology has a lot of "stuff" in it, as long as that stuff agrees with me.

I drink the chocolate shakeology - and I love it. I add pineapple, blueberries, banana - whatever I have in the fridge. I don't just mix with water though. I put mine in the blender, with almond or cashew milk then add my fruits, then blend.
I love how thick and creamy it is!

I drink the vegan chocolate Shakeology and haven't had issues and I also drink the Arbonne protein (which is vegan and from pea protein instead of whey) as well.
I like them both with almond milk in the blender. I don't like either with water shaken. I have not tried milk shaken in a bottle though.

I am currently using thrive (I quit the patches and vitamins) but have been using the powder until I run out. while I do like the taste of thrive, I hate the consistency. I like shakeology much better. I used chocolate for both thrive and shakeology. I also tried the green shakes (shakeology) and liked those with a bit of pineapple instead of a banana.

The only way I can drink Shakeology is to blend it with 1C. almond milk, 2 large ice cubes and 1 Tbls. peanut butter powder.

I like Shake-O pretty well as far as a meal replacement goes. I would also suggest getting a few samples and trying before you buy a whole box. I thought I would love the strawberry mix but I don't like that as much as I like the chocolate which I thought I would enjoy the least.
Pinterest has tons of recipes. My favorite shake is a chocolate pack with almond milk, peanut butter powder and a banana. If I am out of bananas, it is good without too. I also like the vanilla with fresh berries or a banana. I always use almond milk and a few pieces of ice to thicken it up a little. I know that adds a few more calories and fat but I tend to take these with me to work and I need the good calories to keep my full in the mornings because I often don't get a chance to eat again until after 1 or 2 some days.

I've tried a lot of shakes in my day, and thought Shakeology was the worst of them all. It's also the most expensive and doesn't have enough protein to be worth much of anything to me. I've sold or thrown it all away over the hears. I'd rather use a protein powder.

What collagen powder do you use? I drank shakeology for a few years, I made my shake in the morning with almond milk and fruit in a blender, put in a cup then brought to work to drink later. Shakeology is more a vitamin then a protein shake.
