If this was already posted, I apologize. (or should I say "my apologizes") Since tax day fall on a Saturday, marches in 60 cities are planned to protest Trump to release his tax returns. articles HERE and HERE . Then the following weekend is the Science march, no? Good thing a lot of people are off on weekends so they can't be accused of being non-contributing members of society. Oh, wait, that will probably happen anyway. I feel the need to get out poste board, paints and markers. Heck, I have plenty of scrapbook stash to use....

April 15 falls on a Saturday, but tax day this year is Tuesday, April 18. Yep, because that Monday is a DC holiday - Emancipation Day, which is celebrated April 16 (or the closest weekday when it falls on a weekend).

April 15 falls on a Saturday, but tax day this year is Tuesday, April 18. Correct. But they are using the widely known tax due date and it's falling on Saturday to their advantage. And from my experience, people often do not know that if April 15th falls on a weekend, it is extended. Worked USPS for many years and April 15th was/is always the panic day. A bit less so now because of online filing. But, yeah, April 15th is the commonly known/observed and "regular" date.
