What is the "strangest/oddest" thing in your workspace?

Not in my office, but our graphic artist at work bought a silhouette to cut vinyl wall art for work. Cracked me up when he came to pick my brain about what to buy because he knew i was a scrapbooker.

I think I might b e strange blind, too. I can't think of anything weird in my space.

Magnetic vent covers. I remember going to Menards and looking for them and asked my DH what aisle they would be located in. He said something like "you want what for what???" It took longer to explain why I wanted them than it did to find them in the store.

One day he came in to my craft room and asked if he could have one to use what it was actually meant to be used for. LOL

Looking around, I'd have to say me. lol.

My craft room is also my office space and the entryway to the only current working bathroom. So I have a shelving unit which is divided into some craft and some storage (medicines, vitamins, extra soap, extra light bulbs, etc.) and another cube unit that has towels/washcloths, rugs, and a bin for each of us for gloves/hats. I just consider it a necessity and not odd though.

I wish mine did...he loves to take a nap on my couch!

The oddest item I have right now is an old DMC floss store display with drawers of cubbies that I use for small storage like clips, buttons, etc., or the loop floss threaders I used to get ribbon, strings, etc. through small holes since I have problems with my hands.

What I've really been thinking about that would definitely be my oddest item is a laser cutter. I REALLY wish Silhouette would step up and make me a reliable home version, but I'm sure the safety issues are a nightmare. Hobby lasers are comfortably under $300 now, and I'm really sure I'd put it in my garage bc of ventilation, not my actual scrapbook space, but with a laser you can make your own rubber stamps out of actual pink rubber, both etching and cutting the rubber, you can cut felt, cut/engrage wood veneer and acrylics... (Small lasers won't cut metal.) Wouldn't it be awesome to use your die-cut designs with all those OTHER media? I figure as much as I live and swear by my Cameo, and since I make so many of my own designs anyway, I might really have fun with a laser cutter.

next to the typewriters is a sewing machine that sits next to large MAC. the iPad comes and visits once in a while but stays largely off the desk area. i finally got rid of my printer and just use DH's printer in the other room.   

My collection of tin robots? My collection of vintage toy kaleidoscopes? A huge dollhouse I designed, that I have in my studio for my grandkids to play with when they come to visit? My whole studio is pretty strange actually.

It took me awhile to answer this because of the caveat of something strange I actually use for scrapbooking.  Well I have surmised that the strangest thing I have is actual scrapbook supplies!  My scraproom has been taken over by everyone else's stuff including bins of clothes from my son's room, husband's games and books, so much other CRAP that the fact there is any scrapstuff in sight is the most unusual thing. 

Teeth. The tooth fairy hides her stash in my desk drawer.

^^^  so, inquiring minds want to know:  what are you using them for in your craft room??  Do I need to go to the hardware store on the way home from work today? LOL!!

ETA:  and on the topic of the OP, I don't think I have anything overly strange in my craft room, but I guess 'strange' is subjective.  I do have a metal cupcake tin that I sometimes use for mixing acrylic paint...  I have a few kitchen-type things for making patterns in paint, too, like a fork and a rolling pizza cutter.
