Have you used it? Did you find it helpful? I'm considering the online its currently $15 / month. I guess I really don't get what else it does other than counting food? Am I missing anything

I've been a lifetime member since 2001. I think it is one of the more realistic programs. But it does take time to understand the program and requires a little upfront patience to get the hang of it

I haven't done that one yet, but I have done their 2 previous ones.

Weight Watchers is a great and sensible program. Easy to follow but just like any weight loss program, you must be committed to it and to following their guidelines. It is no overnight cure - after the first week - average loss is about a pound a week.
If you follow it though, you will lose weight - it is a good program.

I haven't done that one yet, but I have done their 2 previous ones. I get why some folks don't like it compared to the previous ones, but I think it is the best plan yet. Very healthy and moves people away from processed foods. I think that is where the last plans went awry. The new plan has high point penalties for sugar and saturated fats, and many people have a hard time giving up the daily treats.

I'm doing Weight Watchers online now. I've lost 20 lbs so far with a whole lot more to go. What I love about the new program is that it really makes me think about what I am putting in my mouth. Are those cookies really worth the 6 points? I could have an apple instead for 0 points. That would open up what I can have for dinner then. Even though I'm allowed those cookies, it does steer me toward the apple though, almost every single time I'm faced with that choice or one like that.

I'm going to see what I can accomplish in a week. I bought some new glad ware , food scale and some plastic measure cups, baggies etc. I'm going to portion control, not buy crap and do a lot of prep work. The key for me is prep work. I am 50 lbs over weight. I go to they gym, I have a trainer. My issue is food and smoking. The last couple failed attempts at quitting got the weight gain and not quit. I know how to eat healthy and I love healthy food. Its just the time. Long tiring days. Didn't get anything out for dinner, lets eat out or eat crap. Also Weight Watchers app won't work on my Black Berry

My mother's friend was a leader her entire career (35 years or more) and she enjoyed it and stayed with it her entire career. She is thin, she looks great and she knows it works.

I purchased a calculator on ebay and did it at home myself. I've lost a total of 170 lbs. I don't count as much now, but I eat basically the same thing daily so it isn't necessary .

I joined on September 21 and made Lifetime Member at the end of January - meaning I had lost to my goal weight - 30 pounds lighter - and kept it for 6 weeks. I've actually lost 32 pounds and if I lose any more they won't let me weigh in until I go to my physician, as I'm now at the bottom of their weight range for my height.
It is an easy program to follow. I'm not hungry and I am eating healthier now. I love that fresh fruit and most veggies are 0 points, so you can always eat those. Always.
I go with a friend and two other women from my bowling league. We also group text about it. It has made it much easier with all of the support and accountability.
I can't say enough good things about it. I gained so much weight with my health issues and steroids and I couldn't lose it until Weight Watchers.

70 pounds lighter and maintained for at least the last 8 years (have kind of lost track of how long). At the lower end of my weight range. Lifetime member. I was on the road a lot, so needed their program to learn how to eat in spite of the constant travel, eating out, eating at luncheons, having to use hotel gyms, weird hours, and finding meetings while on the road. I happen to need the pressure of the weekly weigh-ins and the support of the group meetings, so those were critical in my process. Habits are so ingrained now I rarely even think about weight. If I falter, my clothes are the first to tell me and I get disciplined again but I will be very honest that in the past couple of years, it has been harder to gain weight than to lose weight. Much to my surprise and chagrin, that battle was not any more pleasant. I have much more empathy for people with weight gain problems.
Regardless, I've been many weights at many different times in my life. As long as the inner me is comfortable with who I am, that's the real satisfaction. Best of luck to you!
