My android tablet is dying a slow death so for Christmas, DH purchased an Acer windows 10 tablet for me. My one requirement was that I needed to be able to plug in a thumb drive, so we opted for this tablet as it had a usb port.
I went to plug my thumb drive into the 2.0 usb port, and it doesn't fit. I thought it was a standard usb port.
So now I need to find either an adapter or find thumb drives that will fit.
Any advice?
TIA!!

If it didn't come with the micro USB to USB adapter, you need to buy one.

Are there now 3 sizes of usb ports? This has the 2.0, which doesn't fit my standard thumb drive, but it also has a mini usb port. Or is it possible that my tablet is defective?
The thumb drive fits in my pc, my laptop and my old tablet. I feel so out of touch.

what model is it? Just because it says it's usb 2.0 doesn't mean the connector is a full-size usb one.
