I have never used glue for scrapbooking but I have such small pieces for some of my diecuts I thought glue may be easier for them and my friend suggested Zip Dry. Do you like it?

I like Zip Dry...you can rub any excess off when its dry and it comes off so easy.

Once u open it you need to use it. It's not a let it sit glue. It drys up in the container. It's very strong scented too

For small pieces I use my Xyron X, or my Scotch liquid glue with a toothpick and tweezers. I agree about Zip glue drying up.

I REALLY love the Ranger matte multi-medium. It holds everything and it dries matte, so even if you smudge a little, you never see it. I'd tried several and never liked a glue before it. Now I don't know how I ever scrapped without. It already has a fine tip kind like the glitter glue bottles, but you can swap it out to a precision tip. Think I saw the precision tips on Jen McGuire's blog?

I was introduced to Zip Dry Glue when taking an album class at the Bella Blvd. event. I love it for making albums. Best thing I have ever used. What I use for gluing down small pieces is either a glue pen or Tombow Mono in the green cap.

I'm another Zip Dry fan. But yes, use it or lose it because it does soon thicken up in the bottle.

ZipDry is GREAT stuff, but I only use it for projects, like gluing paper to a wooden photo frame. I don't think I'd use it to just scrap paper to paper.

I've been using Zip Dry for years and love it. Works for everything I want to do except real fine/narrow pieces of paper (then I use Glossy Accents or Ranger Matte Medium). I really love that you can reposition things for a few seconds and that you can rub off "over flow" easily and without ruining anything.

Like the other posters, I have found glues that I like tend to dry up over time, which is impractical because I use the glue only occasionally.

@katmandu I totally understand. I've had that happen a lot, too. That's part of why I like this glue.
The glue comes in 3 sizes: a 1/2 oz bottle, 1 oz or 4 oz jars. The 1/2 oz bottles go a long way, especially with the precision tip, and they're only about $2 ($2.49 at SSS, $2.24 at scrapbook.com). I bought the bottle I'm using now last June or July, and I've had no problems with it drying up. I've used it on about 60 pages, and I'm a Silhouette addict, so I don't make a page without some kind of cut on it. But honestly, I if I let it sit for 2 years and it did dry up, I wouldn't feel put out when it's only $2 to start with.

I like Zip Dry. I've had my bottle for several years now. It's no longer clear but a yellowish color but it still works every bit as good! I generally use it for gluing paper to projects not just paper to paper. For fine die cuts and paper to paper stuff I prefer Martha Stewart gel glue.

I use Zig Way Glue Pen & Mono Multi Liquid glue. I use Mono Multi with a toothpick for my tiny die cuts. I also have the Xyron 150. Those are my three musts for die cutting. I am going to try the Martha Stewart glue pens because I have heard such great things about them.
