We're definitely through the looking glass when Mark Sanford is the sane choice for hope! Interesting read!

When I saw it was Mark Sanford, I literally rolled my eyes. The guy who cheated on his wife, lied about hiking the AT when he was really visiting his mistress in South America? Honestly, I've heard little about him since, but then I'm not from SC.
But after reading that article? More power to him.

I read this yesterday and thought it was a good article. I like what John McCain says, but then he votes how Trump wants him to, so I really don't have a lot of faith in him to actually do the right thing.

Interesting article, thanks for sharing.
I think it raises a very interesting question about Republicans challenging Trump - could go either way. But I think given what we've seen from Trump and if we continue to go down that same path, it will be harder for Republicans to defend him. Those that challenge him earlier - that can be good campaign material for 2018.

I think the guy is sick. After everything he has put his family through, he has the nerve to enter his ex-wife's home without her permission when she is out of town! And apparently the Super Bowl incident wasn't the first time, according to his ex-wife's attorney.

As someone who lived in SC under Sanford, my position is -- do not pin your hopes on him.

His past gives me pause but there is hope that if one speaks out and survives and/or maybe more when follow? Safety in numbers? I wish they could or would just do what they know to be right without fear of repercussions. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work that way in political never-never-land.
