I can't seem to edit the post I made above. I didn't mean to put my response to someone I was quoting.

Thanks to canadianscrappergirl, I picked up a "Creative Options" double sided Multi Craft Carrier at M's yesterday. Looked quickly--and unsuccessfully--on line for a pic of one, but I did find THIS which looks a lot like it. I started sorting my wood veneer into it this morning. Not as easy as I thought, what with different sizes of the pieces in my stash, but I have one side pretty much done--letters and flowers and leaves and frilly things like butterflies,... Still have the second side to do with clocks, gears, school and sport themes. Not sure what I will do with the larger pieces, or with those cute little wooden divided trays many of the pieces came in. Any ideas?

I have a roundabout that I keep embellishments on (stickers, packaged brads, pretty much anything that can hang). My loose embellishments are kept in a storage unit like lizadv shared. I think I may steal the idea of canadianscrappergirl and put my items that are hanging on the pegboard onto rings as well, that's a great idea so that you can take them all off at once and look through them. I look like I'm organized but I'm really not...
The purple thing on the floor behind the chair is the box I keep all of the loose embellishments in, like lizadv has but mine doesn't hang. The whole top section of the armoire is cardstock. You see I have photo boxes, baskets, Iris containers, etc.

I think my problem with embellishments there are so many and different sizes.. so I have buttons, brads, and metal stuff in mason jars by color, then somewhere else I have flowers, then somewhere else (in different spots) chipboard, ribbon, then somewhere else is whatever.. If I could get all those in one area maybe it wouldn't be so hard.

I contain my themed embellishments in 12x12 plastic folders. Non-themed embellishments are sorted by color in 12x12 iris container. For small non themed die cuts and other small items I have 5x5 stackable containers labeled by color.
The only things I keep contained in one place together are washi, doilies, sequins and tags but i do have them sorted by color.
