I type journaling in a Word document, save it, and add to it with journaling for more layouts until the page is full and then I print it. I separate the journaling into white and kraft. I found that if I printed journaling for one layout the rest of that piece of cardstock was wasted. It got moved around until it was dog eared and wrinkled.

The pop dots-I use all the non circular pieces too so I utilize the entire sheet. Who cares if it's not a circle Doesn't everybody? I like the background better when I have something larger to pop.

After scrapbooking for 17 years I have more supplies than I'll ever have photos to scrap so being thrifty isn't something I need or want to be.

Well same here, so I guess I am frugal because I don't buy as much anymore and I use up what I can instead of just buying it. I got to find it in my stash.... and I hate hate buying adhesive.. I don't know why cause you have to have it... so I try to make that last as long as possible.

I found that if I printed journaling for one layout the rest of that piece of cardstock was wasted. It got moved around until it was dog eared and wrinkled. I also type my journaling in Word, I print once on a piece of copy paper (and reuse it or flip it) to get it in the right place then I tape down my scrap piece on top of it and rerun it on my cardstock. So I never usually have to use a 12x12 sheet and I try to use up my scrap pieces.. If I don't have the right color scrap, then I go to my mats.. then 8x11 papers.. I'll use anything not to use a 12x12.
