Canadian Bacon with John Candy, Alan Alda, Rhea Perlman and Rip Torn. If you haven't seen it, it is a funny satire about a president after the end of the Cold War who wants to boost his popularity (and make people forget about their unemployment problems) and is convinced to create a cold war with Canada. It makes a lot of use of stereotypes. A lot of people didn't get the satire of the movie when it came out but it is brilliant. It is also funny that John Candy (a Canadian) plays the part of a Niagara Falls sheriff who is taken in by the propaganda. I hadn't realized it was written and directed by Michael Moore.
Anyway, if you haven't seen it, you should.

I remember when that film was being shot in the Niagara Region. John Candy is missed so much.
I think that he would make a great 'Trump' on SLN.
