So many great mentions on this thread already. I've made a note of a few YouTubers I haven't watched yet. Current favourite is probably The Doctors Are In series with Tracy (MercyTiara) and Irit (who might get overshadowed a bit by Tracy's success but is really inspiring and deserves just as much love). I'm enjoying this series also. Stamping Rooster is another one that comes to mind. She hasn't posted a new video in a while but she has a whole bunch for new viewers.

Here is a photo of the scrapbooking documentary. It looks like all his websites are down. So can't get more copies of the DVD. I wish I could invite you all over to watch it at my house. PHOTOHere is a You Tube news segment from MN about scrapbooking and about the documentary guy. It says it was published last year, but this news story is from 2006 or 2007. YOU TUBESorry for the hi-jack.

Anything by Shimelle Laine is a must-watch! Check out all of her Youtube videos. Kikki--if you haven't watched Shimelle's free 4x6 Photo Love class videos, definitely give those a look. I think I just talked myself into a nice afternoon of binge-watching Youtube scrappy videos. jamh I've watched them all, including that class, but may try watching them again sometime. BTW, I was just thinking about you this week. I hadn't seen you post in a while. It's good to see ya!

i find the longer i've been watching videos the pickier i have become. One thing that has never changed is my utter hate of the hand caressing at the start. If it goes too long i dump the subscription. i hate the nonstop monologue while they flutter their hands around, or caress the album over and over while talking about what we're gonna see. Just get on with it. UGH, I can not handle the constant hand movements. Another friend said the constant movement makes her sea sick! I just stopped watching several videos because of their hands

My faves are Missy Whidden, Laura Whitaker, Raquel Bowman and Ashley Horton who has some great Cameo how to videos. Inkie Quill has some nice layouts but I have to be in the mood for her and her voices. She impresses me how she pulls a layout from HMMMM??? to hey that's looks great!

I like Nic Mackin and Ashley Laura. ScrapSaturdays is one who always uses patterned paper backgrounds and no mixed Media.

I appreciate this thread very much! I've found some new people to watch --- and realized another of my "tics"!! In addition to the fluttery hands, and voice pitch ... I'm a "bit" of a stickler about grammar! Today I was watching a new person - no one who I've seen listed, but a person whose designs I've purchased at the Silhouette Design Store. She said "all's you do ...". She was already close to being turned off since she was using her "soothing" voice -- you know the one, the hushed tones and monotone delivery -- but the grammar sent me around the bend! I freaked out a bit and turned it off immediately! Shudder .....

I Project Life and i also skip most of the Ali Edwards/Marcy Penner and their ilk white, white, white with soft accents and blown out photos. The first few pages i think, "nice, simple" then it's "really, still this?" I love those types of pages! I'm too ADHD to have a consistent look through my album and don't bother to look at their pages often for that reason. Back about 10 years ago a guy from Minneapolis, MN made a documentary on scrapbooking. Yep, a guy. It is very good. In one segment, he meets with a historian and they talk about how the stuff in the background of photos is just as important as the person/subject matter. I have it in DVD otherwise I would share it here. Maybe when I get home, I can see if there is a website still for it. I've thought about doing more pages about what's in the background of photos. Another thing I have rarely done is change a photo to black and white. I love to see the color of the couch, the shirt, the car,....

She does do the white cardstock back ground, but she keeps her videos short and sweet and I just really like her style.

Thanks for posting this. She's not exactly my favorite but I could use some inspiration for the stack of 6x6 pads that are gathering dust in my stash. I think the 6x6 thrill is gone for me.

Zoe Guest is a new favorite of mine. In March she is doing a video a day to raise money for mental illness. I think the more likes and views, the more money she raises. And her layouts are awesome. Lots of pattern paper!
