I'm not looking for a lecture on the why's of wanting to be a bit "tan" looking for my trip to Cuba. Nor am I looking for a lecture on how this will not protect me. I plan to wear SPF 60 the entire time I'm sitting out under a beach umbrella or cabana. I just don't want to me glow in the dark white.
I have the bronzing mousse, and did the overnight thing last night. I can see a bit of a difference between where the mousse was, and where my underwear line is. I still think it is very very light.
Would doing a second treatment tonight deepen the colour?
I do have a spot I need to touch up on my one foot/ankle anyway, so I have to do some this evening.
Thanks!

Yes. Use it again to layer the color. It will get darker.

Have you showered yet? If not do that then see what the result is. Showering helps "set" it for some reason and I never knew that until I tired it the first time and had some patchy areas so I looked on YouTube and sure enough showering is what evens it out.

I'm going to be doing the same thing in a couple of weeks for my trip. I apply it for 3-4 days to even out the color and then take it with me to even things out mid week.

Also using a mitt makes a world of difference

When I am planning for a trip or impending warm weather, I use it every other day for about a week. I found that it worked better/faster than the daily lotions you buy at the drugstore, but not near as fast or dramatically as a booth spray tan. I think applying it with a mitt, especially to the legs, doesn't give a definitive "line" like an actual sun tan. It seems like it kind of feathers out along the edges where the application ends, which is kind of deceiving. I noticed the effect more when I compared the back side of my arm or my belly to my legs. And I am sorry that you had to put all of your disclaimers in the OP.... I recall the original thread when people got all Judgy McJudgerson on your desire for a little color. I feel the same way about my very fair skin. I hope you are happy with how it turns out and have a great vacation and feel fantastic about yourself

I second using a mitt and having a shower to set the tan!
