I loved this idea on a FB group I linger in. They are doing a "bash-ket" where they take say 10 items from their stash they want to use in the next X amount of days and put it in a container on their workspace to use it. I loved the idea but wanted to tweak it a bit and share with my Peas.
So here is what I was thinking, in the next WEEK (yes short time span) find 5 old and 5 new things then I want to see at least 2 creations (deadline THREE weeks from today) using these, the more than better. You don't have to use ALL the items on each creation but try to use all 10 at least ONCE. Have a stamp set you love and haven't used in ages, use it! What about those stickers you had to have? Get them on a page/creation! What about a technique you haven't done in a while? Get the materials out and do it! Anyone with me?
After you gather your 5 new and 5 old, post a picture or describe them to us, then show off or describe your creations using them.
Deadlines: Choosing items: March 5, 2017 Creating with said items: March 19, 2017
Make sense? Questions?
Who is in?

I'm in! That sounds perfect for my style of recent scrapping...and I will most definitely make a stamp one of the items. Maybe the old AC brayer type stamp? Hmmmm.

Grab, glue and GO is my MO, so I should be able to play. Having a stash-ket of items should be a big bonus while playing Calvinball!
Will get on finding the items when I have finished the LO I have on my counter right now.
Thanks for setting this up. You gals are really adding to the fun factor!

First layout is done! It's called Hello, Mother Goose. To be honest, I had pulled the photos and papers yesterday and was planning this layout today. I used Basic Grey's Lemonade collection. I had just gotten a second pack of this from eBay in the mail earlier this week. I needed a journaling spot and grabbed the 6x6 pad from my tray and found a yellow that went well. After attempting to journal three times (dang grammar and spelling!), I finally got it. When I put the pad back, I realized the flair had a goose. Must use of course! That was the one piece I figured I'd never use when I bought the package. Then, I realized the feathers would be perfect on this layout too. I got a few colors of feathers in a Bella Blvd warehouse box a while ago. When they first came out, I had never planned on buying them. On this layout, they worked brilliantly. One layout down, let's see what else I can do! Oh...the title gave me absolute fits. I tried multiple times but couldn't get Meeting Mother Goose to work. I found the Sassafras letters with what looked like writing and decided to use that for my word hello. When I was cleaning up, I realized I had the work Hello in the Heidi Swapp wood veneers I picked out. After all my title issues, I decided not to change anything. That word can be used on another layout.

That is a cool page, lilacgal. I love the feather. This is what happens to me as soon as I try to start kitting. I take out the stuff and then say, "Why wait?" and start creating with it right away!

Top: Bella Blvd Chip Ciao, DCWV Year Around 8.5X11 slab, some black adhesive foam, 3 circa 2013 or before stamp sets and a little baggie of raw chipboard shapes. Bottom: Ombre washi, emoji and "like" washi, a new fiskars multi sized heart punch and three new to me 6X6 pads (cool kid, cute girl and Saturday) all not my normal style . Also not pictured is a sheet of multi shaped enamels I think they are pink pasilee with arrows, hearts and stars they are gorgeous!

Can't wait to see what you make! I haven't had a chance to create, probably won't today, but good news THE BABY IS HERE! Daddy just picked up the two other kids to go meet their new baby sister! So I am sitting down while my kids shower/pack up for the day tomorrow! What a whirlwind day!

Ok, here is my first LO. This was actually hard for me b/c I don't tend to gather my embellishments before I start a page so I almost felt "stuck". I used the following: DCWV – Complete Boy Paper Pad Jenni Bowlin Bingo Cards Recollections Alpha Chipboard Negatives Melissa Frances Little Guy Ticket Book
