I've had every reasons to remain frozen after my Distress Oxide detour as I've had to purchase a new nylon shoulder work bag (darn you, Longchamp!) and we've been gathering the funds for a weekend away as well as our summer holiday. I didn't even buy one little nail polish bottle from the SS 2017 makeup release by Chanel! That says a lot about how careful I'm being... Coming up next: I've got a mini album to make for a birthday in the family. And after documenting the apricot trees and cherry trees blossoming, I'd love to do a "Welcome spring" spread this weekend. Perfect opportunity to go to the beach and enjoy the warmer weather. I'll probably use my Distress Oxide to create the background papers. How did your trip to the pit of firy temptation go, freeatlast ?

I finally placed my order for much less than I expected. There are a few things out of stock that I would still like and will purchase if I can find them all in stock at the one place.
I'm equally as excited that I've used up enough paper that all my 12x12 paper pads now fit (just!) in my patterned paper storage drawer. Which means I need to keep creating to make space for my new purchases.

Oh ladies I caved..... I was doing good this month ( I had only spent a dollar!) but I fell for one of the Cocoa Daisy 20 dollar grab bag boxes.....if only shipping had been higher I could've stayed strong... Walking back into the freezer with my head down in shame ..lol

Anyone still frozen? I'm not even trying anymore. I placed an order for sequins and double stitched circle dies, then the Oxide inks, then heart dies (why?) and today I bought the HA Stamp Perfect as a spare to my Stampoholic.
Maybe next month...

I made a purchase at the beginning of the month. Was good for a while and then Monday hit the Joanns coupon for 7 for $1 open stock paper. I bought 28 sheets of white for $4. I was out. I consider it a necessity.
I have had several things in a cart, but clicked away. So there's progress.

I'm still frozen! And drowning in work. So any time off is spent sleeping an extra hour/snuggling with my boyfriend/enjoying the first signs of spring (and taking plenty of pictures). I'm currently digital scrapping with some Paislee Press digital kits I already have. It's just more suited to my busy life right now. It's on the go and easy with my current schedule. It allows me relax and have fun with the memories I'm making while I'm in bed or have come back a little early from lunch break. I'm at peace with this temporary change. I might be tempted to buy Liz's latest kit soon though. Be warned. I might be spending a few dollars by the end of the week.

I placed an order from Steals, but it hasn't shipped yet, so does that count? LOL. Other than that, I've been happily frozen.

I failed miserably this month.... Not so happy with myself, but I will get better.I have enough stuff, so not sure why I keep adding to it... My problem is I binge shop, and I have a bad case of FOMO. So I am going to do a 3 month freeze, I will probably need adhesive but thats it. One of my scrappy purchases this month was an album and 50 page protectors, at least I had one necessity in there...

I've gotten all my sports photos printed for DS. I was able to get in on a 40% off deal at Shutterfly. That was all I spent money on for scrapbooking this month so I met my goal. I'm doing really well with cutting back on extra spending in the rest of my life too. I've even done some scrapbooking in DS's school album.

I'm so glad March is almost over. I'm hosting a card making weekend at my house for three friends in April. I should have enough stuff to get me through the weekend (or at least the next six months!). So I'm really, really going to try to freeze in April.

I've ordered twice this month but mostly consumables and have kept costs down with gift certificates etc. my aim is to stay pretty much frozen for the next few months and use up some kits. I really don't have any more space for new stuff so it's good to use things up!

I did just place an order on Amazon for white cardstock. That is a basic I am nearly out of.
AC was on Steals today, but I got it cheaper on Amazon. Whoo!

I spent a little in the beginning of the month, but not since.
I also have had the same dang layout on my desk for over a week.

I haven't been "actively" frozen, but I have not purchased much so far. It's been pretty easy because I have not been online window-shopping. But I did find some stamps that I want. I might still talk myself out of those.

Adhesive doesn't count, right? Or albums when they're plain boring utilitarian albums? I went to J's and M's tonight, but I spent less than $5 on fun stuff between both stores. So, not exactly frozen, but not too bad either.

On this rainy Friday, I decided to head for the craft stores in search of some very specific supplies - foam adhesive sheets and some specialty card stock. I visited JoAnn's, Hobby Lobby and Michaels and I'm happy to report I came home with 2 sheets of card stock and 3 foam adhesive sheets. I wiped out Michael's supply of foam sheets or I would have bought more.
On to April and another month of "no mindless shopping at the craft stores".

I did it yah! but I realy need a cricut mat... I would say Cricut/Silhouette mats are OK, just like adhesive. It's a necessity.
