Thanks for this thread! In a totally different vein I need to stock up on fresh veggies and fruit so I'm not trapped in my house with a bunch of non-compliant foodstuffs for my whole30.

You have always been a part of the heist. You're only mad now because you don't like your cut.

Sausage and peppers rigatoni. I was already planning to make it so the timing is perfect. That sounds delicious. Can you post your recipe or at least tell me in general how you make it? Thanks. Sure! It's www.food.com/recipe/rigatoni-with-sausage-and-peppers-220489. I've made it at least a dozen times. I love it.

I'll be working from home so no snow day for me unless we lose power. But I have some chicken pot pies in the freezer that will hit the spot on a cold snowy day.

We are having snow now. I decided yesterday to have a beef roast, so that is in the slow cooker today while I am at work. Always a nice snow day food and a bonus that it will be done when we get home.

No snow quite here in Atlanta, but about an hour away in the mountains. Tomorrow is my and DH 24th anniversary. March 12, 1993 the blizzard where we got 24 inches of snow was our wedding day. May have to take a drive tomorrow just to see some snow! I remember seeing pictures from this storm... We spent part of our honeymoon in Dahlonega in May of 1993 and they had a photo book with pictures from the storm at the place we stayed at. It had amazed me how much snow had fallen there and how many people were stranded in the mountains for days.
Oh Happy 24th Anniversary!

We are only supposed to get 8-12 but are on the cusp of the 12-18. I have to work (2nd shift) so I am going to be driving into work and home at the worst of the storm. However if it is bad enough that the 3rd shift person can't make it in I will be there overnight and not have to worry about the drive home...trying to find that silver lining. I want to make something where I can make extra to bring in for Wednesday also. I haven't decided what but love reading everyone's choices.

I'm excited and getting ready! We won't get the brunt, but we are due for 12" of now or more.
Dog and I took a hike this morning and I collected a ton of kindling that fell from last week's high winds, so fireplace provisions are ready.
Grocery shopping all done and we did lots of food prep last night just in case we lose power. If we do lose power at least we can cook up food with the fireplace!
We made up brownies, sandwiches, ravioli, chicken, soups, fish.... cut up all the veggies. Cheese plates, good noshing foods!
Have candles and matches all in one spot LOL 😂

I generally always make some dough. Last time I did garlic knots, but I think I will just go for homemade pizza this time. I duno what it is, but love to have a warm oven and something baking with the snow falling outside.
