Cricut has the blocky Mickey font that is icensed from Disney. It's probably cheaper on amazon, ebay or etsy. shop.cricut.com/en_us/disney-reg-mickey-font.html If you are looking for Walt's handwriting, there are some great free fonts such as Waltograph.

Is there a cricuit cartridge that has the "real" Disney/Mickey font on it??? Hard to tell in pictures at Amazon. Do you have the Expression or Explore? Because if you have an Explore, Waltograph (I believe it's called) is on DaFont for free.

Christine, I had the Expression for years and loved it. I thought the new Explore was only a tad different, maybe faster or something, kind of like the Expression 2. But I'm not the type to need the latest and greatest, so my Expression was fine.
Until my friend got the Explore and my eyes were opened. I am not kidding you, they are almost completely different machines in terms of capability. When I cut Mickey confetti with my Expression, the ears weren't even round, they were sort of oval. Fine detail like eyes were a complete loss--I didn't even bother on small projects.
The explore though...magical. Detail is precise. Fonts are endless. I used print and cut to upload pictures of apothecary jar labels and the cut them out perfectly. Google print and cut. I used a ranger embossing pen and it wrote in Walt font, then embossed the title for my page. You can make your own SVGs out of anything. My son wanted to watercolor, so I had the machine draw an image with a pencil on watercolor paper. I wanted to make a Jedi Star Wars birthday banner, so I uploaded a picture to cut of Jedis online, and downloaded star wars font.
I linked all my cartridges to my account (I still have access to all of my images) sold my Expression as a bundle with two cartridges, a matt, and the cords for $75 on Craigslist, and sold my roughly 30 other cartridges (sold as linked) for $5 each, totaling $150. With my $225 I bought my new Explore and some tools, and never looked back.
Instead of buying the Mickey font, seriously consider upgrading to the Explore. It's like Christmas every time I pull it out.

I have the Mickey Font and it is blocky. I bought it ONLY because it has the "end caps" feature that apparently is only on Plantin Schoolbook cartridge and Mickey Fonts. This is NOT to be confused with the different color "end caps" you can buy to put on your Cricut tools... they should have named one of them different. Is a pain when you are trying to search for one or the other! Here are samples below, I love these for scrapbook titles, bookmarks for gifts, cute for a cork board so you can sort your messages to your family, mark things at a craft fair. Just adore these. The Plantin version is stencil so you don't have to save and glue the letter centers in but you do on the Mickey one. When I found out it had the dog bone one, I HAD to have it. I got mine on eBay. I just kept on bidding on one until I finally got it without the high bids some people got them up to. If I find another cartridge with this feature, I'll get it but these are the only two that I could find. Plantin Schoolbook tag end caps. There are several other tag versions with different shaped ends. Mickey Font with dog bone, ticket and license plate end caps
