I voted "Make half a pot to get through part of the day. Make more later in the day."
But I don't drink the whole half pot myself. It's split between two or three people every morning.
But I almost always make more late in the afternoon, or when I get home late at night, to help unwind.

I make individual cups. We have an espresso pod machine, which I much prefer to drip coffee and it is usually just me home during the day, so this works best.

I'm the only one in my house that drinks coffee, so I have a one-cup Black and Decker coffee maker. I make one cup that I drink while I'm making lunches and getting ready for work. I will occasionally have a cup in the evening, also.

No routine at all, I don't drink coffee, I like the smell but dislike the taste.

For quite a few years I have had single cup machines. They are never fancy ones. I paid $15 for current one - half price after Christmas. It does ground coffee or pods. I only drink coffee in the morning and only 2 cups a day.

Technically, I lied in my poll response as DH is the one who always makes the coffee, not me. (I do recognize this as a good reason to keep him, btw.) Makes 12 cups first thing in the morning.
He drinks one or two at home then fills a mug to take to work. I have one cup right away and then sip on the rest throughout the day if I'm home all day. Must stop by 4:00 or I can't get to sleep. . .
ETA: My 1,000th post! Yipes, I had no idea I'd participated that much!

I turn on the Kuerig and make my morning cup of coffee and shut it off. I usually only drink one a day. If we are off to watch DS play basketball, we will stop at a Tim Hortons on the way there and drink coffee at the game. But that's it!

We make a 10-cup pot in the morning and drink it all before or on the way to work. That's for two of us.

Mine is "other" because I LOVE iced coffee, so I brew a large pot, let it cool, then put it in a pitcher in the fridge. Cream and Stevia are added when I drink it. I also make coffee ice cubes so that it's not diluted when the ice melts.

I use a chemex. It is a pour over system. So I make a couple maybe 4 cups during the morning. I don't drink them all.
To me there is a short window when the coffee is not too hot and not too cold, miss the window, I pour it out and then boil more water and make more coffee.
Here is a trick I learned from my mother. I use the left over coffee instead of water or stock in soups and sauces. Never more than a cup. But it never tastes like coffee but it makes things like marinara sauce or chilli taste like it has more depth.
In the summer I often put leftovers in a pitcher and make ice coffee or a coffee smoothie in the afternoon.

I make a 10 cup pot in our cheap coffee maker using Tim Horton's coffee. We drink the whole pot by 10. I usually have 2 large cups as does dh. Sometimes one of the kids has a cup.

First thing in the morning I pop in a k-cup, brew a full cup and drink it black. About once a week i use my french press but thats usually later in the day.
I truly drink way too much coffee to be using k-cups, coffee is my favorite thing in the world & i drink it constantly all day long. I sort of miss brewing a big pot of coffee & smelling it all through the house.

OTHER: Go to Starbucks drive thru. One cup a day. However, if SO makes a pot of coffee on the weekends (rare), I will partake in it, but with flavored creamers. I must have sweet coffee, no black for me.

I'm an "other". I set up the coffee pot the night before, ready to brew two cups for me in the morning. Dh drinks his at work. I drink those two cups first thing and rarely drink any more coffee during the day. I might drink hot tea, but not coffee.

I have changed my habits over the years. I used to make a whole pot on our drip machine and drink it all day long. Then a few years ago we started using a French press and it made 2 large mugs of coffee that I'd drink all morning. Now we have an espresso machine, and I will only have 1 latte for the day, and only once in a while I'll pick up a med tims on the way in to work.

DH is the coffee drinker here. In the morning, he boils some water and uses an aero-press. It's a single serve pressed coffee that you can make to taste from espresso to light. It filters the grinds. Very quick and easy. Later in the day, he uses the Kuerig.
I drink tea. I make a quart in the morning, and drink it during the day.

I voted "other" I use a moka pot (a stovetop espresso maker) that makes about 3 shots. Then I heat up the milk, froth it, and make my own latte every morning. That's the only coffee I have all day. A three shot latte is plenty, I think.

I have found out how to use my Bodum French press. I use my Burr grinder and use 4 scoops of Kicking Horse coffee. (I know how strong I like it). I grind it fairly coarse. I pour water into the level I like and let it perk for 3 min. I pour out black gold. Today was especially good. I am sorry the pot is gone now. It was so good this time.
There are 8 lbs of coffee in the garage fridge, 3 under the counter where the fish mold was and 2 more in the house freezer. We take coffee very seriously.
