It's just a pretty CM style, to me. HATE post bound albums, now, so I would not be buying those, no matter how cute the cover is. Just not for me. It does look like it comes as binders as well. At least one of the books (the last one) she showed was a binder. i wonder what the price point is because if someone is drawn to this style it would be fairly simple to replicate with existing product and white cardstock.

I gave in and listened to the Scrap Gals while on a 8 hour drive today (feel free to judge me, I'm judging myself ). TC was as annoying as ever, but they interviewed Hedi about the storyline products. I hadn't heard of it. She said basically Michaels approached her about creating something to get people into scrapbooking because sales are down for scrapbooking stuff and this is the concept she came up with. The other thing that really stood out to me is they discussed the post-bound album thing and she said 80% of Michael's album sales are post-bound albums. That blew me away. I didn't even know that was still a thing. I did my very first album back in 2003 post-bound and haven't done any that way since (although I took several years off from scraping, so I may not be the best example). Out of complete curiosity, I'd love to know the stats on what is selling in the scrappy world. Did you think Heidi swapp sounded a little sloshed in the interview? Like she had trouble getting her thoughts out? There were a lot of odd pauses. She's Mormon so she doesn't drink. She always sounds like that to me. She is always all over the place when she's talking about something she loves. She is very passionate about memory keeping and I love that about her.
