..name something that you got rid of and then regretted giving it away, selling it, or trashing it. For me, it's my quickutz and alphas--I COLLECTED those back in the day, spent a fortune on them, and then decided to get the Silhouette, which I adored for a few years and then sold when I stopped scrapping. Now I am back into scrapping..and don't want anything to do with the computer when I scrap--I bought a die cut machine for cardmaking, but SO WISH i still had my pink quickutz and all my alphas in their cute little binder. What was I thinking?? ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/mYSUyHtG9Jrcmm_ydVcK.jpg)

I can't think of anything really - when I'm ready to give something away, it's because I'm never going to use it

No regrets so far. I did keep all my Quickutz alphabets. I spent so much on them I just couldn't let them go yet.

I don't really have anything on my list. The only thing I can kind of feel this way about would be the Nuvo drops. I ordered a ton from a group on FB (there are several out there) that does group buys...basically someone with a business license allows people to pre-order things and sells them at a decent discount (not wholesale pricing, but not full price, either). I got them for a decent price and bought 27 bottles. At the time, they were hyped up like crazy and everyone was saying how great they were and how they were JUST LIKE enamel dots. They're not...they're rubbery and can be squished when dry...the number one trait to me to be considered a replacement is hardness and keeping shape. One person even used her bottles to make some shapes and they CRACKED as they dried. As soon as I got them, I listed them for sale (I was able to sell them for less than retail including priority shipping and break even...I might have made like 5 cents or something after paypal fees, lol) and got rid of them. But EVERY SINGLE TIME people use them in videos and say how much they love them, it makes me want to go out and buy them all over again. I have NO CLUE why...I have hundreds of packages of enamel dots and periodically buy them in bulk on AliExpress. I'm not going to run out anytime soon, but I still feel like I need to have them when people talk about how great they are. In all honesty, I'm not missing out on anything since I have the real deal and NO DRYING TIME! ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

Not product-related, but I regret tossing all my old planners from when I was young. Those would have been such a treasure now. I did so many fun things before I was married, but I hardly remember any details. My planners were full of notes, thoughts, events, ephemera, etc. I wish I had thought to save them.

They dry, the just don't dry hard like enamel dots (you can dent them with a fingernail, for example) and the hardness of enamel dots was a trait they were advertised as having but don't.

My Perfect Layers. I bought them, never used them and gave them away. Then I borrowed a friends and fell in love and had to buy another set.

I had my own version of a smash book/ art journal/diary when I was in high school and although sporadic and full of so many different subjects and themes I wish that I had kept it so that I could look back at the words of teenage me.

This subject gives me anxiety lol. I like my stuff & dont purge supplies, but when we moved 4 years ago, i had an overwhelmingly huge collection of wooden stampin up sets. I was also in move and organize mode & i decided to get rid of about 50 sets. Ugh!
It makes me feel regret every time i think about it and i liked most of them. So. Freaking. Dumb.
I've been buying sets off ebay lately lol.

Oh ... you guys ..... I'm still thinking about moving and "needing" to purge ... and I have all the above (well, not the Nuvo drops or the planners -- I still have several years of back calendars becaue they need to be kept for tax purposes)! This is going to make me have more trouble than I was already going to have in "letting go"!! LOL!!!

Years ago, before I became a scrapper, I was strictly a stamper/card maker. I had a lot of specialty papers such as mulberry, vellum, and others I don't even remember the names of. When I switched to scrapping I got rid of a lot of these papers and now I wish I hadn't. I figured out how to use them in my layouts and I really like the look. I've bought some new paper but it's hard to find.
Other than that I really don't miss anything I've purged. Usually it's papers or embellishments I don't like that come in a set or a trend I tried that just didn't work for me (foam stamps with acrylic paint leading that group).

I have a huge stash and have a hard time purging, for this very reason! I would hate to sell something only to regret it later. Mostly I purge bits and pieces from kits that I know I won't use or stamp sets that I have duplicates of. Nothing too crazy. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg)

My CM circle and square punches. They were the best. When I got my Cricut, I didn't think I would need them anymore and got rid of them when I did a huge purge. Big mistake. That was the one and only time I did a big purge. Now I hate to get rid of anything!!!

I don't have any huge regrets about things I've purged. The only thing I can think of is some papers. At time's I've bought too many of one sheet that I particularly liked and then purged the extras. I will occasionally have an "I wish I had another sheet of XYZ paper" moment but I have more than plenty of paper and the feeling passes.

I can't think of anything scrappy I regret purging but buying yes. I still have my red sizzix and QK squeeze and all the dies though. I never could get the colluzle to work for me.

The Cuzzle shapes were okay bur the alphas never cut cleanly for me. That whole system got purged years ago as did my QC pink squeeze and old red Sizzix. They were replaced by my Big Shot and dies. I do kind of regret letting go of the red Sizzix since it can cut fabrics but oh, well.

I have four bottles (had five, but the green exploded - enormous mess everywhere). I use them a little as tiny accent dots, but when they're all gone, that's it. And I'm not buying any more. They really aren't exactly like enamel dots, and I like the real dots better.
