should I finish the taxes or play with my distress oxide inks that just arrived. I should be good but I feel like a moth to a flame right now!

Finish your taxes. Yes, it's boring, but 1 - you won't have to tear yourself away from the inks later and 2 - you will have guilt free fun, without the thought of taxes hanging over you.
P.S. this is easy for me to say, as I have neither taxes to do nor distress inks to play with.

Taxes because you will feel SO great when they are done. I got mine all together, worksheets filled out, and turned into the CPA about 2 weeks ago. Best thing I ever did. I hate it hanging over my head!

I suggest choosing the inks. After all, it's not even April yet!

My DH takes care of putting things together for the tax guy. He still has not finished it this year and it is causing me a great deal of stress, so I say do your Taxes!!! Then play, play, play!

Do your taxes and then if you get a refund, you can buy more inks if you want.

Do your taxes and then if you get a refund, you can buy more inks if you want. DH does federal and state so I do the local, it's tedious because we have multiple W2s. No hope of a refund. My DD's are a nightmare, she worked in 3 states plus some other complications. Think those are going to a professional. For the record, I played and it felt so good. I love working with the oxides on black paper.

Good for you! The good mood a play session creates can make everything else go much more smoothly!

Good choice! Which color ink is your favorite? Violet, but I like all the brighter colors and want them to release more.

Wilted Violet is the only color in the Distress Oxides that I've bought to date & also seems to be the favorite of many scrappers/stampers/cardmakers/multi-media artists who I've asked. I'm hoping Ranger also releases my favorite neutrals - Hickory Smoke, Ground Espresso, Black Soot - in the Distress Oxide formula in the future. Enjoy the inks, & best wishes completing your taxes!

I actually wanted colors like Citron, Peacock, Raspberry... We got good news on a tax issue we were having so Federals are ok, but the State for DD is a pain in the you know where! Now I can play without guilt.
