Disclaimer: I have an appointment for Friday.
Okay, I have MS and years ago, a doctor said I had carpal tunnel in my right wrist. I do not have any pain in either wrist.
What I do have is intermittent tingling/itching/burning in my left hand from my fingertips to my wrist. The itching is usually worse between my fingers towards my palm.
The only thing that seems to make it go away is ice - sometimes just holding an ice pack12.org, sometimes I have to fill a bowl and shove my hand in it. Pressure helps temporarily. It isn't usually there in the mornings and is much worse if I've been sewing. And it will go away after a week or two, then be gone for a month or so.
Anyone have symptoms like this? Dh thinks it's probably carpal tunnel, I'd say it has something to do with my MS (I don't remember it happening before my diagnosis), and WebMD say peripheral neuropathy. Lol

Peripheral neuropathy is like saying you have a headache. It is simply a description of burning/tingling pain in your hand, not the underlying cause. Just like many things can cause a headache, many things can cause peripheral neuropathy- including carpal tunnel syndrome.
Go to the doctor, as it could also be due to things like high blood pressure or diabetes, although your MS is a likely culprit.

My doctor loves to see me, she says I always have such interesting symptoms.

I had carpal tunnel in both hands and I didn't have any pain at all in my wrists. What I did have was pain, numbness and insane tingling in my fingers running/shooting down toward my palms. It got much, much worse with the swelling brought on by being pregnant and didn't go away after I delivered and the swelling went down. I had surgery on both wrists which took care of the problem immediately. I haven't regretted having the surgeries for one single second. I wouldn't rule it out.

I've had a ganglion cyst in my wrist and it causes issues in my hand right down to my fingertips when it acts up. Ice helps relieve the issues. I get a little panicky when there is numbness and tingling, but I know the cyst grows and affects the nerve. Things that are repetitive aggravate it. I absolutely can't crochet. Knitting is fine until I overdo. So i'd guess the carpal tunnel could be the cause, but always good to have it checked out especially given that you have MS.

carpal tunnel doesn't (usually) cause pain unless it's quite severe. numbness and tingling that is alleviated by ice sounds about right, actually. You can also help with the symptoms by stretching the tendons by bending your hand backward on the wrist, putting pressure on the fingertips.

My carpal tunnel was very similar to what you describe, especially the tingling and burning. I did get pain as it progressed but surgery fixed it 100%

It's mostly intense itching/burning, especially between my fingers.
