Particularly from Sally's. Who's used it? Does it work as well as I'm hearing for keeping the yellow/ brassy tones away?

Works great. It's my go to when I get highlights and it does keep them longer and less brassy. I will say it does tend to dry out your hair more though.

Stylist said to only use maybe 1-2 times a week, and could mix it with my regular shampoo... thanks.

I use it about once a week, along with the conditioner.
I have blonde highlights in my hair and prefer cool "beige" tones. This shampoo and conditioner keeps the color fresh and helps minimize yellow and brassy tones.
I tried the cheaper brand from Sally Beauty, but hated the smell.

My daughter has been using the Dessange brand shampoo/conditioner on her chemically lightened blonde hair. She especially likes the Brass Color Correcting Creme; she uses it 1x per week and it really does help keep the brass tones away! Dessange Paris
