( Elsabelle - stealing your words again this month) Here is our thread for sharing our scrappy goals and progress. Do you have monthly scrap goals and yearly scrap goals? Is there anything new you'd like to try? Anything you'd like to do differently?

Hoping to complete 30 pages in April. I have photos and supplies for that many pages kitted for our crop, but no guarantees those will be the pages I get done. Would be nice to have my Winter album finished.

I want to scan some more of my grandmother's photo collection. It is a long overdue project as I have literally been working on it for years (if you count leaving it hidden in a cupboard for months on end as "working on it").
I want to start my 2017 month in review album. I am up to date with the journaling but have done nothing else.
I want to work on one of my unfinished projects. I have two in mind as contenders: a vacation mini album from a trip I took in 2007 that has been largely untouched for nearly that long, and a photo a day project that is just one photo + a few words for each day.
And wherever possible I want to include some of the challenges posted here.
I fully expect my goals will roll into May and I'm ok with that as long as I make progress on them this month.

Thanks for starting this Linda! I want to get through my Jan and Feb layouts which will be 10 12x12s and 10 PL layouts. If I could catch up on this that would be amazing

Just organizing for me for the near future. Organizing digital files, printed photos of my kids, heritage photos from both DH's side and mine, kid projects and schoolwork, supplies, my house, and yard and garden. Lots of donations to make and things to re-home. And still lots of unpacking to do even though we've been in this house for 2 years now. And occasional bargain shopping, but only a little bit.

I have spent the past week organising photos and page sketches for my Barcelona album (trip taken in Jan 14!). I'd like to get at least half of the LOs done in April - it will be tricky as we have a visitor this week for a couple of days (sleeping in my scraproom) and then we're away the week leading up to Easter.

I have 2 crops in April, both of them Fri night and all day Sat. The first of the crops I am going to finish my son's ROTC scrapbook. It was actually caught up, but then he left ROTC due to a knee injury and I had purchased all these Army related supplies thinking this was a more long term thing. So I decided to print the photos larger and basically redo it to use up some of these supplies and have a completed album. I think that will be done probably the Fri night and maybe part of Sat.
Then I am excited to get back into my living history photos project that I started in Feb. I am working on 18th century era style photos and think this will fill about three 8.5x11 albums. At my retreat in Feb I had done 75 layouts so that's already one album and the start of the second. Would like to finish this part of the project by the end of June. I love working on these photos with the huge stash I collected over many years so the pages move quickly! Most of the photos were printed 3x5 also so I can more easily fit 3 on a page with room to embellish.

This is what I have planned for April as well. Organizing and spring cleaning, and transferring computer files, etc. Other than that, we have a spring break trip to Florida planned, Easter, and then lots of social commitments in late April. I'll be busy making memories to scrap on International Scrapbook Day! I'll also be shopping. Was mostly frozen Jan-Mar, I plan to pick up a few new lines this month.

My hope is to catch up on the PL pages I have photos printed for (week ending March 18th). I would also like to make a 12x12 page or two. I haven't made any this year!

I can't believe it's already April! I haven't given too much thought to goals for this month yet but I'm thinking I'd like to edit and order some pictures, complete a simple Disney mini album, and scrap 10 layouts. That sounds reasonable. I've been so busy lately and if I haven't been busy I've been so tired from being busy that I haven't had much scrappy mojo. I have a quiet week coming up (hopefully) and I'm hoping to scrap on Monday and Tuesday. If you can't tell I do not enjoy being busy all the time. The introvert in me needs some down time. Scrapping is the perfect way for me to do that so I'm hoping for a quiet Monday.

Put me in the boat with msliz and carolynhasacat, I'm gone for a few days later this week and then I'm just concentrating on my house cleaning, gardening, and all things home. I do have some throw pillows I'd like to make, so that could go down as crafty. I do hope to participate in some of the challenges here. I made 1 layout for 1 of Chinagirl828's challenges last month which was the first time participating in a while, but never uploaded it. If there is time, I'd love to organize some of my crafting stash. That may be pushing it a bit.

I've got big plans for April. We have a week and a half off for the Triduum and Easter Break. I'm hoping with some of those days being without a kid, I can get some stuff done.
I'd like to complete 25 pages, finish PL 2016 (only two weeks left) and start PL 2017 (only the title page done - yikes!), and send a big order to Persnicky Prints. Big goals for me but I think they're attainable if I focus.

I want to edit and order some photos. I did one big order last week. This is my least favorite activity.
I have a crop coming up Saturday, so I need to organize some kits to bring.

I am on a serious mission to knock out partially done projects! So far- got my 2017 PL back up to the current week (slipped a little behind when I was sick) and finished my 2016 December Daily (the last week wasn't done since we traveled). My next big one is to finish my DITL mini book from April 5, 2016! Pics are all in and most of the cards & goodies selected. But need to finish up the journaling and making it cute. And I WANT to finish it before 4/5/17! If I can get that done before the kids get back from Spring Break, then it is back to finish up my November 2016 PL spreads. If I can get that done by the end of April. It will be a huge weight off of my shoulders. And then it is time to get serious about my youngest daughter's baby album. Such a big one to tackle...ugh.

I'm off to a strong start - I've completed two months in my month in review album for 2017. I can probably squeeze March in but I'm going to have to buy more page protectors before I can do much more on this project.

You guys are inspiring me with all this talk of cleaning and reorganizing. I need to devote some time to this in April. I have 4 big donation boxes in my hallway and every time I'm in the craft room, I'm looking for something I can put in them.
Here are my other goals for the month: 1) Cards for April's Cards for a Cause. Our charity is the NC Ronald McDonald Houses and they want thank you cards. I don't have enough in my stash so I'll need to create a few designs. 2) Cards for April's Ronald McDonald House. I need to make 2 more kid birthday designs and I'll have the cards to send off to this. 3) Card kits for my weekend retreat at the end of the month. I will be making cards for the kids attending the Royal Family Kids Camp (for battered and abused children). For so many of my other charities there are restrictions on what materials we can use. For this cause, I can pull out all stops and make sparkly cards to my heart's content! I hope to get a great start on 150 to 200 cards by the end of the weekend. I do all my cutting, stamping, coloring, etc. before the weekend and just assemble at the retreat. 4) I've decided to devote a fair portion of this month's TN to WITL. I'll be happy to have the photos and journalling together by the end of the month. Actually putting together pages this month may be wishful thinking.

I hope to get 25 pages done between finishing my vacation album to Madeline Island last fall and getting more done in my 2015 family album. I got an Easter card and birthday card done last weekend. I should start Mother's Day cards also.

I skipped right over editing and ordering pictures because I hate it and got started on some journaling and a Disney mini today. I'm loving it so far. I just need to do the cover and I'll be done! I feel so accomplished already.

I made myself work on my DITL and got up to mid-afternoon. Note to self... this project is not nearly as exciting a year after actually taking the photos. I have all my notes for journaling but after 360 or so days have passed, I am just blah about it... not nostalgic. I hope I don't feel the same about the baby album when I get to it. I would much rather be doing my current PL week, so at least that bodes well for keeping up with that project!

How is everyone tracking on their April goals?
Aside from finishing March in my month in review album yesterday I have done nothing towards the goals I listed above. I've actually done very little scrapping this month although I took Monday off work so now have a 4 day weekend and am planning to work on something fun today.

I have made major progress on my Barcelona album - I have done 6 single and 3 double LOs and have 7 double and 3 single LOs left to go and I am hoping to get at least 3 doubles (or 2 doubles and a single) done over the weekend.

Would be nice to have my Winter album finished. Got the 30 pages done at the crop--actually 33--so that one is covered. And about half of those were for my winter album. (Got distracted--as often happens for me--with the more recent spring and Easter and house hunting pic's I printed on Friday). I still have a large "Winter" kit complete with photos of skating and hockey I need to get to. If I do any more actual scapping this month, that is where I will start. Or those pages might have to wait for NSD activities in May. My next project is to get an album set up for a Retirement party, May 4th. I said I would do the front and end of the album and prepare PL style pages for attendees to write in their messages, and to house photos taken at the event. I also need to start on my oldest dgs's grad album. Need to start pulling pages from my albums so I can get them printed for him.

It was so much fun! Lots of laughing, eating, staying up too late and getting up too early and getting things done. I'm happy to report I finished 150 cards. I had only made card kits for 156 cards so my planning was just about right.

I have the retirement album started: PL style inserts into the page protectors; title page and last page and one other page completed. Have collected most of what I need to take with me on Thursday. Still need to do a couple more pages and get my pens and glue and stickers into the tub with the album. Today I am taking 4 iris containers of pages about dgs to the printer. I have pages from 1999 to 2013 pulled. Still need to extricate from 2013 to present. Waiting for the May Goals thread to set this month's goals!

SEMI-FAIL: I also only finished 3 pages last month. 1 made it for both the stash and bonus challenge here. SUCCESS: House cleaning is still underway and quite successful. Also, I reorganized and cleaned a bit of the craft area. I made room for both my new cameo and the 3-d printer DH bought me for Christmas. The cameo is all set up; I still have the 3-d printer to set up.
