Hi, ladies!!! Sorry this is late. I was at Expo all day yesterday, and it's hard posting this from my phone.  It's NO April Fools, y'all, it's already APRIL!!!! Don't close your eyes, or the year may slip away! Welcome to monthly Sketch/Scraplift challenge! Each month, I will post both a sketch, and a LO for you to lift, or draw inspiration. I'll be including something for both 1 page scrappers, as well as 2 page scrappers, and some of the LO's can be modified to fit either one. I like seeing the creativity of changing them up! I think it will be fun to see what you pick, or if you decide to do both! Here we go!   As you know, in scraplifting/using sketches, your LO's can end up looking exactly like the inspiration piece, or you can let your creativity run wild! These are just jumping off points to get you rolling. Have fun, and link your LO's back to this thread so that we can all see your piece of art and give you some lovin'!  admin, please add to the master list. Thank you! |

Love the inspiration, KikiPea, and your page, lilacgal. Looking forward to seeing more takes on these. I printed off both to pack up with my scrappy stuff which will be going with me to a crop the weekend after Easter. Until then, not much time for crafting around here! |

Thanks! I love sketch challenges. This one was a little difficult with the circles though. I think I'm going to mat it on Sunday when I'll be able to scrap again. It needs a border to me I think.

Love your page, mikklynn! And I love that sketch. If I don't get to it this month, I will definitely use it at some point. So many circles in pages I have pinned on Pinterest lately, and this is a great way to incorporate some into a design. I used the double page sketch for a LO I did this past weekend at the crop. When I get my stuff in the house, I will snap a pic of it and post. |

I really love everyone's takes on this sketch--they're all so different and inspiring. lilacgal Great choice of pastels and embellishments to go with your photo, especially the feather. I've never tried a feather on a page, but I have some saved from our late cockatiel, so . . . mikklynn Your choice of papers and embellishments for your photos was absolutely perfect! I'm always nervous about using multicolored letters on my layouts, but this is a great example. grammadee The two pager! Again, great embellishments. I wish I could read the journaling. Chinagirl828 I think your neutral palette is perfect for evoking that "20 years ago" vintage feeling Simple and beautiful. I'm a binge scrapper due to limited time, so I only scrap every few months when I can squeak it in. I always look at the challenges and fully intend to try them. Today is my one day off this week, so I'm neglecting my chores. I'm going to give this one a go |
