After getting screwed by SW I am going to be more careful where I shop. ACOT is currently showing that the colors of the distress oxides I want are in stock and no longer just something you can add to your wish list. It has been a while since I have ordered from them and I know I didn't have an issue but just curious if others have had good experiences and if they have shipped quickly in the past and don't ship the slowest method possible? They are charging more and I am debating waiting for scrapbook.com as I have had awesome experience with them but I have no idea when they will restock.
Thanks

ACOT has a few shipping options. The cheapest is usually smartpost (ground UPS or FedEx...can't remember...then handed over to the PO) unless priority or first class are listed. Sometimes there is a delay (they order it from their supplier after you order it from them...it started a couple of years ago...I think they are struggling a bit and this is a way to keep costs down by not pre purchasing things that may not end up selling), but there will be an asterisk telling you if that's the case and typically it will give you an ETA on how long it will take that item to come in on the item's page...some things say just a few extra days, others say up to 2 extra weeks.
Whatever shipping method you choose, they will ship that way. They aren't like some that charge priority and then you end up with a first class envelope in the mail.

Of course I just signed up for their newsletter and it had the new Kaisercraft Indigo Skies line and it is gorgeous and that is tempting me as well. I really need to not look at any more ads as I have plenty I just want these three ink pads LOL. Save

Another frequent shopper here. ACOT is very reliable.
The shipping to me here on the west coast is a little slow. Scrapbook.com is faster and gets things packed up more quickly.
I have sometimes waited a very long time for them to get preorder items in stock, but it always comes eventually. I like their service, and they always have good discounts. If they have your inks in stock, I say go for it.

I shop at least 90% of the time at ACOT. I have never had a problem. They package paper very well, so no bent corners.
Sign up for the emails and watch the coupon codes. I usually wait to buy until they have 20% off.

I have ordered from there several times and have never had a problem. If I remember correctly, they took a couple days to process my order, then I had priority shipping. From order to delivery it was about a week, maybe a little less. I do find there shipping to be a little high,as most places. The only thing I ever had to wait on, was chalk ink pads- but they let you know right up front if there will be any delay. In my opinion, it is one of the best companies out there.

Never had any problems! My only gripe is that shipping is really slow. I live one state over and it took a week to get to me.

I have never had any problems. My orders have always been complete and in good shape. I don't really pay attention to the shipping time. I'm never in a huge hurry to get something.

I usually wait to buy until they have 20% off. I've had SEVERAL boxes from ACOT arrive completely squished, torn, or with huge holes in them (that's what happens when you order a box that has to go priority but doesn't fill all of the empty space). I gasp in horror, take pictures expecting to be filing a claim about the order and then cautiously open the box to find everything intact on the inside EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. So, yep, they package things insanely well. I've had a few with bent corners, but nothing major and I've mostly lucked out with it happening on the branding strip side...never enough to bother complaining about, that's for sure!!

I'm glad it all was undamaged. I've had boxes like that from Amazon. Only one was missing anything.

The only thing I wish is that ACOT would use packing pillows in order to fill the empty space to keep the squishing and holes to a minimum...but given that I've never had any major problems as a result of how they carefully package things, I deal.

I have never had problems and I usually order from them. Except one time my box was damaged and papers inside had bent corners. I got in touch with their customer service and they took care of it.

Well I just ordered. I know I ordered from them a while back and didn't have an issue but know things change. Now to sit back and wait for my inks and a few sheets of indigo skies . I think I need to join the frozen peas after a few too many purchases. Hoping to join in some challenges here. I love the new ones and old.

I shop with ACOT 90% of the time also and never have had a problem and usually get my order in 2-3 days. They do take the time to pack things well. I can honestly say I have seen one mail man stand on the sidewalk in front of a house and throw a package at the front door. Whenever I have ordered single sheets of 12 x 12 paper they wrap it and then tape it to a cardboard sheet trying to keep it from bending. I have used Scrapbook.com and they do a good job also as does Ellen Hutson.

Good to know. I'm finally off my self imposed first quarter freeze and there are a few items I just HAVE to have. I'm pretty sure you all know how that goes. ATOC has everything I want in stock. I've never ordered from them before so I want to give them a try next week after pay day. Thanks for the heads up on coupons.

They are my first choice for ordering. I have never had an issue and seem to get my supplies quicker than Scrapbook.com. That is probably because I am on the east coast and ACOT ships from Michigan. Enjoy your purchases. Sometimes it doesn't matter if you pay more to get what you wanted sooner!

I get my orders really fast and pre-orders usually before the date they estimate. I also live in Ohio, and believe it or not Ellen Hutson is in Washington state and get her's in about the same amount of time. What part of Ohio do you live in? I am in NE about 45 minutes from Cleveland.

ACOT is usually my first stop -- and I've never had a problem that was their fault (they can't control when American Crafts tells them a thing is arriving in February and it doesn't show up until March ). Unless you're buying a lot of product (or preordering a lot) and can take advantage of a coupon, the prices aren't as good as Scrapbook.com's perma sales. But the shipping is usually much better on lighter orders (no matter which side of the country I'm on), and ACOT seems to get most lines faster, so it's usually the winner for me. ACOT seems to sell out faster, though, so for not-brand-new stuff, I sometimes fill my carts for both sites and compare!
