Does your family have a funny name for passing gas?

Barking spiders.

Not a name but a saying: "Did you hear that asshole talking shit behind my back?"

My mom always said "Who stepped on a duck?"

I grew up calling them poopy bubbles. My mom thought the term farts was vulgar. Poopy bubbles came about when my oldest sister was taking a bath. She farted, it made a stinky bubbly and she wrinkled her nose and said "ewww poopy bubble."

My brother used to say his butt coughed.

I really don't like it when little kids say "fart", so we always said "passed gas" when my son was little. As to be expected, he of course overheard someone saying "fart", but thought they said, "flirt", so for years, he would say that he "flirted". Once he started to read, he would collapse into a fit of giggles whenever he would see a shirt or something that had the word "flirt" on it.

Bottom burp. When DD was little, she used to call it her butt drum.

That's what we say too.

A friend's two year old daughter used to shout "OLE".  It cracked me up every time.

Growing up, my family used to call them "futzees." (No clue on the spelling.) I always thought it was the Yiddish word for it, but I honestly have no idea where it came from.
