April die cut challenges The idea is to try and incorporate the challenges into your projects each month so that we are using those files and dies more. post your projects in this thread or tell us about what you used so we can encourage each other. This months list: 1. Use a die cut border or frame 2. Use a die cut shape or cut file you have not used before 3. Use a Spring/Easter themed die cut I look forward to seeing what you create! admin can you please add this to the master list of challenges. Thank you. |

Thanks Dawn. Will have to print this off when I get home. I know I have packed my egg dies and bunny dies into my Spring/Easter kit for the crop.
Need to remember to pack up my border punches too.

I managed frames and shapes on my Happy Easter, Bottoms Up! (for a birthday) card, and they're all new. I created everything in PaintShop Pro and cut with my Silhouette. The digital version  In my post I explain I made mistake cutting the frames without a middle, to save ink. It made them bendy and so my card did end up being slightly wonky. I changed the file and instead left the middle area white on the brown and green frame.  |

Such a cute card! And I am glad to see a new challenge. This is one I think I can actually do.
My scrapbook room is finally set up and usable, my company leaves early Monday, and hopefully I can get some crafty time in!

Hmmm...I didn't see this on the master list of challenges for April. Just sat down to do a project and realized I forgot what the die cut challenge was for this month, but I had to search through the threads to find this. I'm a little late getting started for this one, but better late than never! I haven't had much scrapping time this month until now. JaneB, your card is so cute! |

When I get my vehicle unpacked, I will try to remember to get a pic of one of my Easter pages, with the eggs.
Packed my border punches but didn't use one of them while at the crop.

jane, that is such an adorable card. I totally didn't get to this one, but I've only created 3 layouts this month. Yeah, I'm a slacker. I also just got my new cameo3 hooked up a couple of days ago. I've missed my cameo. So next month won't be a problem to get this challenge finished.
