What paper do you prefer to use with distress inks and oxides? I'm looking for paper other than the little packs and tags by Ranger? I've been using 80 lb neenah cardstock but it warps something awful. Is this avoidable or am I doing something wrong?

I really like the newish Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Heavystock for Mixed Media. It's like the manila tags, only not so yellow. Even though it's not white, the colors come out a lot brighter than on the manila tags. The coating on it makes the inks so bendable compared to regular yardstick. It comes in various sizes, but the 8.5 x 11 is most economical.
If you want to stick with white cardstock, I would go with 110 lb. The 80 lb. you're using is probably too thin. I usually end up getting by with whatever is on hand, but I've always intended to find the perfect stock of white. The cardstock that comes with the Simon Says Stamp kits is pretty nice. I think it's Neenah.

I've also tried the Neenah 80# and 100#, my usual go to's. If you don't use water then these are perfect. But add water and let the warping begin. Last night I played around with Bristol Smooth and my Oxides. After only a couple of layers they did warp, but flattened somewhat after drying. Here is a fairly recent video from KW on which paper to use for different techniques KW Paper Video And she always mention if the product was sent gratis or not.

You might want to try watercolor paper. It is meant to handle the wetness. You can probably get a some on sale at your craft store or J's.
I have also used mixed media paper. But I find that watercolor paper is thicker and warps less.
Hope this helps.
